That looks REALLY good in terms of lineart, X. Again, I'm not the scratching expert here, but I can give you general impressions.
First of all, the shading on the bottom of his left wing, our right....it seems a little too dark? Is there something in the wing shape that would cause that area to be in that much of a shadow?
I'm not a pro with shading water either, so I honestly can't answer that question. Seems good to me, though.
Only other real problem I see is that his wings aren't symmetrical. If that's part of the design or not, I don't know, but the spikes of the wing with the deep shadow are a lot wider than the spikes on the other wing.
Other than that stuff though, I really do like it. Canti And Headpunch will be able to give you a better C+C.
That's what I thought for a second there, then I figured shiny XDAnd while I'm at it, here's the Shit- Aw crud.
Why'd I make a Shiny that looks like a shadow version? Now I'm going to have to make ANOTHER one. *sigh*
P.S. - Highlight the quote :PI have fixed the shaded area, thinned the left wing's stones, added a tropical-looking shiny (They really do need more pink pokemon. (This coming from a straight male.:))), and fixed another mistake I noticed: the left wing's stones' outline was all black.
@Fuzz:The scanner finally worked. That's the reason why the lineart doesn't look like garbage. I'm pretty good at drawing, but I stink pretty badly at scratching an outline with nothing to go off of.
P.S.: I think I might create a Prevo or two for this. Originally, I was planning on it being a Legend, but I think I've changed my mind. I'll try to work on those soon.That looks very tropical :D
I can think of three pink pokemon off the top of my head - Shiny Swamper, Shiny Vaporeon, and Shiny Kyogre.
There's also Gorebyss, who, apparently, gets the award for being the only Non-Shiny Pink in the game.
EDIT:There's also Mew and Shiny Celebi, although they're impossible to get.
EDIT2: Palkia is technically Purple, according to the Pokedex.I know Celebi is obtainable in game (and Mew as well, IIRC).
Celebi is 10th Anniversary (I have one, actually ).
lol Gorebyss is on my Baton Pass team <3Man my motivation for spriting sure have been at an all time low (reasons include: temperamental internet, worrying about exams, lack of motivation), so for now I'll stick with commenting on peopple's sprites.
@Xzero: Megaman has so many spinoffs it's not even funny. X, ZX, Zero, Legends, Netwhatever... I just play Megaman 9 on my Wii. (Still can't beat Wily's castle, the thing is just too damn hard) NIce concept though, somehow reminds me of Starmie. Oh and it's awesome to see the GallaDex is still going.@X&Z for a watery body composed entirely of water it wouldn't image it being all pointy and whatnot i would like to see it more bubbly and watery and an aura of psycic energy to sortoff hold the water up and to form it.
Actually, Luvdisk is Red, and I always thought Nidoran & NidoranM were purple.
Not counting those, I see 13 Evo chains with nat. pink Pokemon in them.
@CM: I really don't know how to do a bubbly effect, so I'm not going to try, and, if it had an aura surrounding the water, why would it need the water in the first place? Just my reasoning for that.
EDIT: Also, the body isn't entrely made of water, its just everyyhing that isn't silver/pink/dark purple.
@NikLink: I've beaten MM9 in 1 hour, 6 minutes. I actually found it kind of easy once I learned all of the tricks. Just Game Over yourself once you reach the next floor.
