Introduction: I hate using the OU of the OU. I like a challenge so I incorporated some UU into my team. I think this is a well rounded balanced team.
Crobat @ Wide Lens
Ability: Inner Focus
EV's: 252 HP/6 Atk/252 Spd
Nature: Jolly
-Hypnosis
-U-turn
-Confuse Ray
-Taunt
My lead poke. Crobat annoys the hell out of everyone. Hypnosis first turn, Confuse Ray second turn and U-turn third turn. Sometimes people switch out to three different pokes which helps with prediction. Taunt anything that is a set-up or stat raiser. I have Wide Lens instead of Leftovers because I need Hypnosis to hit, so the 15% increase helps out. Crobat gives me the upper hand from the beginning of the battle.
Claydol @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EV's: 252 HP/252 Def/6 Spd
Nature: Bold
- Psychic
- Ice Beam
- Calm Mind
- Substitute
Obviously a Sub-Calm Minder. I wanted a Bold nature and to max out Defense so that Claydol can absorb hard physical attacks while taking out the threat. With a base 120 Sp.Def, there is no use in putting any EV's in Sp.Def. Although Claydol can be known to be a Calm Minder, I think that Sub-Calm Minder is better because Claydol can turn into a pain in the ass tank.
Tentacruel @ Leftovers
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EV's: 252 HP/ 6 Sp.Atk/252 Sp.Def
Nature: Calm
- Mirror Coat
- Knock Off
- Surf
- Sludge Bomb
My Sp.Def wall. With 252 EV's in HP and Sp.Def. Tentacruel can Mirror Coat any Thunderbolt and most of the time it's a OHKO. This has saved my ass a number of times. Knock Off is used when I predict a switch. I chose Sludge Bomb instead of Toxic Spikes for two reasons: 1) Use for Celebi and 2) I don't want to poison my opponents entire team when I've got Hypnosis and Thunder Wave(Miltank).
Mamoswine @ Life Orb
Ability: Snow Cloak
EV's: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Nature: Jolly
- Superpower
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
Physical sweeper/revenge killer. The standard set expect for Choice Band. I didn't want to be limited to one move with the variety of types of moves. Earthquake OHKO's Heatrans that aren't scarfed. Superpower deals with Blissey the Bitch. STAB Ice Shard is no brainer and Stone Edge is for Gyarados and Zapdos(if I ever have leave or switch Mamoswine in).
Miltank @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EV's: 252 HP/86 Atk/86 Def/86 Sp.Def
Nature: Impish
- Heal Bell
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderpunch
- Ice Punch
When making this team I wanted a physical support poke. I switch Miltank in when I'm not sure what my opponent is going to do or if I'm not sure whether the pokemon I'm facing is a physical or special attacker. One of very few pokes that can use Heal Bell which is an amazing support move. Thunder Wave helps with speed problems. Thunderpunch and Ice Punch are the physical part of pysical support poke. Both moves help me take down a variety of pokemon. Gyarados never expect this and get wrecked. So does Salamence with Ice Punch.
Rhyperior @ Leftovers
Ability: Solid Rock
EV's: 252 HP/6 Atk/ 252 Def
Nature: Impish
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Avalanche
Defensive wall/the ultimate Scizor revenge killer. It really is. I made Rhyperior because of Scizor. Scizor usually think that they are hot shit and try to Bullet Punch, Brick Break or Superpower. Rhyperior retaliates with Fire Punch. OHKO most of the time. As for teams without Scizor, Earthquake for STAB and the very important Stealth Rock. Avalanche is 120 power when Rhyperior is attacked first which is most likely the case.
Conclusion: This is my first RMT so I think I did everything right. Any positive suggestions are welcomed and appreciated. I really want to avoid changing pokemon but if a number of people agree on changing someone, then I will look into that.
