Starting Notes: This was something that started off as a random idea one night. The whole team is based around Mixape and countering it's weakness'. Well, let's begin.
Empoleon @ Chople Berry
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Modest (+SpA, -Atk)
EV's: 252 HP | 48 Def | 120 SpA | 88 Spe
-Hydro Pump
-Grass Knot
-Aqua Jet
-Stealth Rock
Originally, a Anti-Lead Gallade was in this slot, but it was gotten rid of due to getting it's ass kicked by basically every lead. Hydro Pump is mostly the main method of attack, 2HKO-ing LeadGross and LeadZong, while Earthquake will never 2HKO me bar a critical hit. Grass Knot takes care of Leadpert easily. Aqua Jet is for Sash-ed Pokemon not KO'd by Hydro Pump. Stealth Rock is there to help Infernape score some OHKO's later in the game. Chople Berry allows me to live through a LeadApe's Close Combat, hit with Hydro Pump, then Aqua Jet to kill it.
Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk)
EV's: 252 HP | 220 Def | 36 Spe
-Thunder Wave
-Grass Knot
-Hidden Power (Ice)
-Recover
Standard Defensive Celebi. Thunder Wave cripples anything not Ground type, which Grass Knot makes up for. Hidden Power (ice) over (Fire) due to my extreme lack of Ice typed moves on this team. Recover is, obviously, to recover lost HP.
Latias @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid (+Spe, -Atk)
EV's: 4 HP | 252 SpA | 252 Spe
-Draco Meteor
-Surf
-Thunderbolt
-Trick
My Revenge Killer. Outruns +1 Salamence, Choice Scarf Flygon, Calm Mind Latias, and other Scarf Latis with the right prediction. Timid over Modest to make revenge killing DDMence a bit easier. Thunderbolt to deal with Bulky Waters like Vaporeon who don't take much damage from Grass Knot. Also revenge kills Gyarados quite easily. Surf (Water) and Draco Meteor (Dragon) have near perfect coverage, only be walled by Shedinja and Empoleon (Who Thunderbolt kills regardless). Trick to screw over walls.
Jirachi @ Expert Belt
Ability: Serene Grace
Nature: Naive (+Spe, -SpD)
EV's: 252 Atk| 4 SpA | 252 Spe
-Iron Head
-Wish
-Fire Punch
-Thunderbolt
This was an interesting set I found on Jirachi's page here, and it's worked perfectly so far. It's main selling point is the surprise factor rather than strength. If I KO something with Iron Head, which isn't that hard due to the 60% Flinch rate, my opponent will most likely send in something like Gyarados or Scizor to counter. I outspeed both of them and hit them with a Thunderbolt or Fire Punch respectively, OHKO-ing both of them and gaining an immediate advantage. Wish is to provide healing support for the entire team, especially Latias. It works well with Latias, absorbing Dragon moves that would otherwise KO Latias.
Gyarados @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -SpA)
EV's: 252 Atk | 6 Def | 252 Spe
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Bounce
-Stone Edge
This set is meant to draw in Bulky Waters that are left near the end of the match, and do as much damage as possible. Dragon Dance adds to Gyarados' tremendous Atk and Spe, while Waterfall is the main STAB attack. Bounce can dodge crippling moves like Will-O-Wisp and Thunder Wave, and even an Explosion, and comes off at an impressive 85 Base Power, not factoring in STAB, and it has a 30% chance of paralyzing the enemy. Stone Edge deals with things like Salamence, Zapdos and enemy Gyarados.
Infernape @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
Nature: Naive (+Spe, -SpD)
EV's: 64 Atk/ 212 SpA/ 252 Spe
-Nasty Plot
-Fire Blast
-Close Combat
-Grass Knot
The main player of the game. I choose Nasty Plot over Hidden Power (Ice) due to the fact that after one Stealth Rock, I can OHKO most of them with Fire Blast. I'm running max Speed Ev's to outrun pokemon that have been given EV spreads to outrun 192 Infernape. Is this a good choice? Close Combat takes out Blissey and Tyranitar easily. Grass Knot is to finish off Bulky Waters that Gyarados has weakened.
