Thanks Naxte, this will surely help me out:D

Edit: Is there an IV calculator for the 1st and 2nd generation games or can you figure out the Ivs yourself based on your pokemon's stats? If the latter is true, how would I go about doing that?

if I'm abusing of rng to have a perfect latios/latias in emerald, when must I stop the time to hit my frame? when I choose the color? or when my mum calls me?
Is it the right moment in which latias/latios IVs are generated?

I read that if you deposit 1499 Pokemon into the GameCube game (Can you call it that?) Pokemon Box, you get a Pichu that knows Surf. Is this true, as the site I was on said it was unconfirmed.

I want to breed Encore+Counter Alakazam in Emerald. Do everstones pass natures in Emerald? How is breeding generally different from D/P/Pt? Can I RNG the egg?

I am SR'ing for a lugia, are these pretty good iv's? (remember it's out of 15)

Hp/Att/Def/Sp. Att/Sp. Def/Speed
15/13/13/x/5/13

The IVs/nature are generated once you press A to decide the color of Lati@s on the TV. It's really a pain to SR for the roaming one since you have to then go find and catch it to verify its stats before you can save. If you have access to the Eon Ticket, the Southern Island one is much easier to SR for.

Yes, it's true. They must all be deposited from the same game, however.

And now for a question of my own:
If I replace a bad internal battery in R/S/E/FR/LG, it will NOT delete my save file like it would with R/B/Y/G/S/C, right?

This is a complete assumption, and should not be taken seriously, but my vba emulator saves all games as .sav files, which are the same as the files that the game itself makes. Also, you have the option to import/export the file, and that says that is called the battery file, so my guess is that it would delete your save file =/.

Umm... I'm not sure exactly whats wrong. I just bought an Emerald off of Ebay. Right before the Continue screen, whenever I try to play it, a message comes up that says "The save file has been erased due to corruption or damage." "The game can be played." OR, on the rare ocassion, "The save file will be loaded." "The game can be played." Whats the problem? Is it the internal battery?

Sorry if this was the wrong place to ask this. :(

With the upcoming release of HeartGold/SoulSilver, I have been seeing a lot of Ho oh and Lugia. Now this brought back a certain memory. If I remember correctly, both legendaries could be caught within both games. If it was Gold, Ho oh would be level 40 and Lugia would be level 70, and vice versa. I remember catching a level 70 Ho oh in Silver once. Could you indeed find them both in the game?

My guess is that you have a pirated cart.

yes, both Ho-oh and Lugia can be found in both Gold and Silver.

Awesome! Hopefully, they'll keep this intact in the remakes. Come to think of it, Gold and Silver started a tradition of having two "must have" Legendaries. Most games followed suit afterward, excluding the fact that you could catch the one within both games.

Seriously? D: I didn't know this before I bought it, but it came from Hong Kong... Does anyone else think it could be pirated?
If it's not transparent green like in the picture below, then it is pirated

Hello,

Is there a method to RNG abuse for wild Pokemon, and Pokemon like Mossdeep's Beldum, in Pokemon Emerald? If so, can someone tell me what thread the information is on? Sorry if this is a bad question.
