Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

I assume you mean Cresselia and Mesprit?
If you caught them, they shouldn't be take into account, but if you have talked to Oak in his house in Eterna, then the Trio of Birds should be.

M'kay. And also, can you abuse the RNG in Pokemon Colosseum? Or is there no RNG / Known method?

So if are RNG's for eggs, and your journal automaticly opens on a page where i caught a pokamon, does that mean i'm actully 2 frames ahead of my starting frame beforei do anything?

Like my starting frame is 7, and the guy i want it as Frame 9, so do i just hit B to get out of the journal and into the game and hit A as fast as possible? This is how i thought i worked but then i caught a guy and the flips matched and i IV'd him up and they were the IV's for frame 7 which makes me question myself...? ANy help?

If the journal comes up and you have a caught pokemon on it, it is +2. What you probably did was calibrate the egg with the journal coming up. If not, then your egg frame wasn't consistent.

You should check the nature of your synchronizer.

I wasn't using a synchronizer :toast:
But then I used one and it was ok. But seems to me that the swimmer, even though he has a fixed pattern, does increase the RNG.
So you should check it out, because on the first post, it says that NPCs with fixed pattern doesn't increase the RNG n_n

Delay = Seconds between game start and hitting A on the continue screen * 60

The delay I want to hit is 634, but my average is only a little less than that (600-614) so it means I'd have to wait less than a half a second, which why emloop isn't working I think?
Anyways, could someone calculate the .seconds I would have to wait?
or should I just be changing the year?

Can somebody help walk me through it for Wondercards? Perhaps make a video of some sort?

Edit: Or does RNG not work for the Japanese copy of the game?

Frame 64 - Adamant
Happinness double tap - 4
coin flips - 0

How do I proceed? Do I do the taps, change to coin toss app and go to the day-care? Or do I just do the double taps?

If my normal delay time is 600-614 and I'm trying to hit 634, should I still use emloop? Or could I just calculate how many seconds I'd have to wait. (And how)
I may need to explain it differently, since I don't know if I worded that right xD

Just popped up here and I'm no expert, but why don't you change your date to change your delay?

Oh and I sort of asked this before, but I guess I wasn't clear...

If you use an everstone while shiny tapping does it still give you a 50/50 shot of getting the nature you want? Most of the time the nature I want is like 1000 taps away, but there are lower ones and I was hoping you could just give the mom a stone and hope for 50/50.

No, it won't work like that. All that will happen is that you will get the wrong egg.

The nature/ability/gender/shiny are all linked.

While attempting my first RNG, I believe I have found another 'saying' in the journal that advances the frame.

During my frame calibration, I kept getting frame 4, but then I did some trades on wifi and the phrase

"Got [pokemon] from [trainer name]"

appeared in my journal. Then while SRing, I kept getting frame six. I saved on a different day so that the journal page would only say

"Started from Solaceon Town."

And I've been hitting frame 4 again. (It's frustrating because when I kept getting frame 6, I changed my target spread...)

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but it was not on the first page instructions (which I am finally starting to understand and am getting really close to my Hippopotas =).

Also, I could be wrong b/c this is my first RNG attempt, but just thought I should mention it.

That doesn't advance it.

Resaving is what changed your starting frame.

Got a shiny bold eevee egg'ed that I've been trying to get good IVs for but I keep hitting a wall. I've hit the "flip sequence" for the delay that I'm aiming for several times, but when I check the IVs they aren't what I'm aiming for. Any advice?

I'm RNGing a Regice today after work. I want it to be Relaxed 0spd so It can be as slow as possible and I want to bulk it up too, cuz the best ones I've ever faced were bulky.

I haven't even checked to see if it's possible, but I came up with HP (Ground 64) with
30 / 30 / 30 / 31 / 30 / 0.

Is such an HP even usable/advisable? Ground is SE against Fire, Rock, and Steel, (3/4 weaknesses), so that was my original thought, but it's only 64 and not 70. It would hit Heatran pretty hard...

Or should I just go with 31s or something... :/

Just managed to breed my first RNG abused pokémon. Going to practice some more with RNG breeding 'till I go over to RNG catching.

Has anyone tried RNG abusing for a Beldum, or something else in weather? Is this possible? I was thinking of doing my flips in an area without weather, then running to the sandstorm while counting my turns and steps.

LightningFusion has a guide on the first page for abusing with the PokeRadar, which can be used in the sand and hail, and I (also on the first page) have a reasonably good idea about how the game determines whether or not you get an encounter in the grass if you're just walking (if you're lucky enough to land a frame that not only is available by walking but also spits out the right species).

With regards to seed verifying, I think your best bet is just to journalize it first and check your seed once you caught something. (when I get around to catching a shiny Beldum of my own, I plan on testing my seed by aiming for an earlier shiny frame)

Ok, if I'm using the RNG to manipulate a wondercard's IV's with a set nature,(Modest) does that mean I can pick any spread? Cause it will always be Modest, or do I need to use Modest spreads?

From the OP, which says you can always pick any nature because it never has any effect on the outcome.

Search using the directions from the "Capturing Perfect Pokémon" using method 1 and then add two to the frame number. When searching for an IV spread, the nature attached is completely irrelevant as the PID and IVs are not coupled for Wondercard Pokémon as they are for method 1.
