Are you changing the max frame? That feature's only for Emerald; it might be restricting your search (Emerald always seeds at 0). Alternatively, try increasing the delay range.
 
Rediculously ignorant question....

Should I download 7.1? 7.0 seems to be working for me and I doubt I'll buy HG/SS till it comes out in the US and you geniuses have it all figured out. :)
 
The only thing in 7.01 is a small tweak to help with finding the initial seed in HGSS, a fix for emerald breeding CSV output, and a textual error in the chain->sid function. So if none of that is necessary I would not bother. There is going to have to be at least one more release before we can really be productive in HG/SS anyhow.
 
Quick question, I'm looking to get a HP flawless Magnezone, is there anyway I can make RNG show exact generated 30 Ivs in Att/SpA/Spd?

for example, the lists come up with A/13/B/13/19/B ect
Is it possible to set RNG so it only shows x/30/x/30/x/30?
If I set it as I want 30 in those stats it still gives me a list and I can't be bothered to go through them

No, I just always put in zero for default. Guess I'll try it out again to make sure I'm not doing anything weird.
 
It means Emerald, too. I think at this point we might as well have a consolidated help thread. Eventually this OP will just be links to articles/threads with instructions to all of that stuff.

Not really because I've been using it for ages, I just wanted to know if there was a quicker way of doing it.

It literally gives me a list of hundred upon hundred. And when I export to CSV is just puts it up in an excel program. No idea how to search from there or if it's even meant to be in an excel program O_o
 
Uh, I am going to assume that you are talking about RNG Reporter.

Have you considered setting the IVs to == 30 in the filter section to only get decent IVs? Or just press the "==30" buttons next to the stats you are interested in ...
 
Um just a question but I'm trying to IV RNG a Charmander.
So I did all the steps yada yada yada then I(think) I hit my frame and delay because the coin flips matched exactly with the ones on the chart but the thing is the Charmander doesn't have the correct IVs

What am I doing wrong?

If you hit your delay, then you hit the wrong frame OR you hit a delay with identical coin flips for the first 10 flips you did. Most likely the first one with the NPCs messing you up.

I know what you mean, but it's not that. I want to filter all parent stats so it only shows my desired Ivs in the selected stats.
If I want ==30 in 3 stats, it may only come up with 1 ==30 then on the other two stats it'll come up with parent A or B

I want to filter so it only shows ==30 in the stats selected, possible or not?
 
What determines if you get 4 'new' stats and 2 parent stats, as opposed to 3/3?
It seems to be particularly rare, and it is how I bred my perfect HP Fire Roserade.

I was curious the odds on it, and why it was so low.

Ah, yes, this feature has been requested and is on the list, but I have a *lot* and I do mean a lot to do before I even start it. It seems, though, when you are going for flawless there should not be that many in a list to go through and find one that matches your parents.

Thanks much, I always forget just how full the coverage is in that guide.
I guess it just seemed so rare because I was searching for really specific IVs when my parents could have been a smidge better.

31/HP_E/31/30/31/30 with 30/31/31/31/31/31 + x/31/x/31/x/31 parents
I got a spread of 31/26/A/30/A/30 and was like "Now wait a second, 4?"
 
Guys, I tried using that RNGReporter. In the time finder to find the shiny egg. I dont understand how to do it. Can someone explain to me in further detail? I also tried using the shinyfinder program but I got stuck at step 7 =[
 
I researched my slot for a particular spread and it came up as 1, but when I went to get the poke it was slot 2, this happened twice. Is there something that can change the slots or am I stuck with what I have?
 
I want to RNG Mespirit. I know how to quickly find and kill him now, but when i beat the elite 4 will he be back in that cave? Is that where I RNG him?
 
I've heard that you can rebattle Mesprit in the manner you specified. I can't say I've confirmed this, but it's worth a shot, seeing as it's the case with most legendaries anyway.

It's a method 1 Pokemon, and you have to hit the delay and frame before talking to it in its cave (meaning you can save right in front of it before beginning the RNG manipulation).

Thanks. That's what I thought, but my plat guide just didn't specify wether it went back to the cave (easy to RNG) or just started roaming (probably couldn't RNG).
