The referee was hardly going to blow at 95:26 exactly, unless he could be looking at his watch at the same time as the play. Hence why the whistle is usually blown when the ball is in the air or something.
 
The whistle is never blown during an opportunity to score. So if either United or City were in a threatening position, the game would continue until the ball was cleared. That's almost always how I've seen it happen. As has been said before, City should've held the ball instead of booting it, they can't complain about to much added time. Didn't Chelsea and Spurs have about 9 minutes? I guess that's just becoming a bigger part of the game nowadays, good teams have to be aware of it.
 
it was blown last week for half time, west ham scored like 1 second after the whistle for half time, i thought ref was a bit of an idiot for doing so.
and there is usualy a few seconds for set plays too

And oh my god. I just saw the highlights of Arsenal's game.... and the Olympiakos keeper was AMAZING.
 
Yeh, Liverpool were poor in Italy last night.

Hopefully United will turn over Wolfsburg at Old Trafford, won't be easy but we should win.
 
I don't believe Wolfsburg has a chance in Manchester, because their defense is quite bad at the moment :/

It would be good, if Bayern could beat Juventus today :)
 
I think Wolfsburg wouldn't have a chance in manchester. Manchester have good offensive players like Valencia, Giggs, Rooney... and the defense from Wolfsburg isn't good at the moment.
 
linesman had a field day... united had a perfectly good goal disallowed for offside in the first half.
still united deserved the win.
 
I liked the game Valencia vs Genoa, it was a close match. It was a shame Genoa had to loose in the last minutes because of a penalty.

With the way they played, throughout the whole game.. they were lucky to get that result, I would say decent.. compared to the possible 3-1 loss.

In the end.. fuck man u.

Does the fact that we get "lucky" so often not indicate that it isn't luck? We will always score goals and force mistakes because we have so much quality and just attack in numbers when we're behind.

Also, the added time yesterday was extremely stupid from Wiley. In the second half, there were six subs (30 seconds per sub) so that alone was 3 minutes extra. Then there was a least a minute between Richardson's foul on Valencia and the free kick being taken, he first kicked the ball away then Wiley took a while to actually red card him, and he protested and took his time to walk off. That's at least 4 minutes there, and that's not counting the three goal celebrations that half, which should've been about 1 minute 30 seconds in total added on. Especially retarded seeing as one of which was in extra time and he still blew the whistle exactly on 4 minutes. If you saw the way we were pressuring them at the end, we could well have won that

Well first of all, a lot of people had their doubts about this friendly. Why fly 44 hours for 1 friendly? Why leave a couple of every important players in Europe?(Robben, Van Persie, De Jong) But the Dutch fans thought it was a good match of the side of The Netherlands, just dissapointed that there were no goals, because we deserved one
 
The WC it's looking like it's going to be nice, and the qualifiers in CONMEBOL are getting fun, Argentina might not qualify and Chile already qualified. O_O
