Which part was frame 1? there are two different RNG's when breeding

The 1st one is the IRNG which designates the PID of the egg, this allocates the gender, ability and nature. This will always be frame 1 unless you double tap the happiness checker or do coin flips.

The 2nd one is the PRNG which allocates the IVs of the egg, this one is advanced by moving NPCs or Journal flips, and will always change on each save. can be anywhere from frame 1-9 if you collect the egg straight away on start up. Each time you save it should have its own typical range of eg. frame 3-4.

I mean the 2nd one; but the result was alway Frame 1. So maybe, I did something wrong then?

No if thats what it is, thats what it is, I've had it a few times where its frame 1, just remember to calibrate on every breed, next time he has your egg you might save just before all the NPCs decide to move and end up with an average frame of 7 =P

All I can suggest is find your desired spread on frame 1 (or 3, 5, 7 etc with the aid of the journal) and when it hatches you'll know for sure =P and if you miss you'll know what to allow for
 
So I've been checking up on my HG Seconds/Delays by capturing Ho-oh and entering the stats. Aside from some error messages (telling me that the entered stats are not possible?) which I got rarely I got these fairly consistant results:

2nd Delay/Secs: 15/491
3rd Delay/Secs: 15/493
4th Delay/Secs: 15/491
4th Delay/Secs: 15/487
5th Delay/Secs: 15/489

Now, to explain the situation. I'm standing 1 step below the ladder that leads up to Ho-oh. I got 5 pokemon in my party atm, including an adamant synchronizer and a sweet scenting combee. My goal is to catch a shiny Ho-oh with at least decent Atk and Speed IV's.
So from what I understood, I did this: After checking for my usual delays/secs, I went to the DPPt Time Finder, selected Method K, ticket shiny and searched for a x/31/x/x/x/x spread with a max frame of 500 (going any lower and it didn't find anything almost..)
So I noticed I get the same spread for multiple frames, on different dates. For example The Ho-oh with the PID E2E51A25 appears very often - and - according to the rightclick>timefinder the next one to appear would be on 31st jan at 07:59:15 with a delay of 492.
I then hit generate and copied the seed of said time to the clipboard, entered it in the main window and the Ho-oh that I am trying to find seems to be on frame 427.

Hope I got it right so far. So what I do now is continiously set my DS time to the future and reset at 7:59:00, hoping to hit my delay and after that (no way to check it though?) I'll have to advance my frame to #427. Now here's my main problem.. what would be the best way to achieve that?

Edit: I've also got two roamers out I guess, being Entei and Raikou, since I didn't do anything about the three dogs yet. Also I did some more searching with the time finder and found a shiny adamant 18/31/11/25/7/19 spread for the seed F51301F8 at frame 4, 6 or 10. Pretty crappy except for Atk but maybe such a frame would be much less hassle to go for?

Yesterday I tried to get a shiny Charmander by breeding, and failed. Can someone tell me what I did wrong.

Got 5 pokes in party.
Saved at Resort Area.
Reset.
Noted time when pressed A on Continue.

Selected "Find Initial Seed by Stats"
Entered stats
Clicked Find
Got Initial Seed
Clicked OK
Clicked Generate
Right-clicked on nature
Selected "Calculate Poketch Taps"
*On Game*
Tapped, Happiness Checker first.
Flew to Solaceon Town
Dropped of Charizard and Ditto at Daycare
Got Egg
Hatched Egg
No shiny
Swore
 
What was the frame of the egg you received? This might be able to tell you whether you messed up the coin flips or happiness taps somewhere. Otherwise, you may want to try starting up the game saved on the application before the happiness checker.
 
Nope ain't working :-(
Maybe I'm tapping wrong. The Ditto has an Everstone attached, may that effect it?

EDIT: Success!!! I took away the Everstone and it worked! Thanks a lot, now I'll soon have a shiny Charizard!!
 
It's possible, atleast if it's not an international one. Try taking it away, and going for a low frame one (doesn't have to be shiny). Just to see if you can hit the frames first off. So just enter game world, and go for something like frame 25 or so. Then get the egg and see if you hit it. If so, then it's likely you just miscounted.
 
Okay I have a problem.

I managed to hit my 15/493 secs/delay but for some reason, my frame doesn't advance the way I want it to.
The Ho-oh I get always seems to have the spread from either frame 3 or 5. The frame I need to hit, according to RNG, is eithr 4 or 6.
So far I've been standing on the floor below Ho-oh, next to the ladder. As I noticed I needed to advance 1 more frame, I made a save point 1 step away from the ladder (so I have to press down twice to ascend it). Still frame 3/5.
I went 2 steps away (so I have to press down three times!) and STILL on the same frame.
The floor holds wild pokemon so I was under the impression that each step is supposed to advance the frame by 1?
I tried detuning the radio, but it seems to advance the frame by 2. I was on 3 earlier and am now on 5, both frames share the same spread but I need either 4 or 6 ><
Halp :(

Edit: No kidding I'm going crazy. It's impossible to hit the even frame numbers.. o0

If I have a even from 288 and my flip = 143.5 (288-0-1)
Do I
1. Flip 143 times and collect Arecus
2. Go to Jubelife flip 143 and what for the NPC to take 1 step
3. same as the 2nd but he turn and step.

For Wondercard's with uneven Frames yes either release a Roamer or let an NPC in the PokeMart take one step or turn as you exit your journal from Journal Flips
288-1 (Monster Frame) -1 (NPC Step ur Turn Once) =266/2 = 143 Flips :)
 
Yes, yet another post. Well I didn't get any help so I was close to hanging myself before it seemed to me that 3x radio talk from bottom right station + 2 steps = landing on frame 10.. managed to get him, finally. My first RNG'ed pokemon from HG, might not have the best stats (except for perfect Atk) but I am very proud nonetheless!

No, that was my question (what it is everywhere). xP I was just saying I'm doing it in weather because I can't check coin flips there. I got an answer from TDS in IRC, but he wasn't sure if it was +5 or +7 from the actual frame. I'm going to try with +5 the first time unless someone tells me otherwise before I hit my delay. o_O

ok you cant sweet scent in the weather
 
i think i just understood this black magic a bit more.
now each game has pre determined iv spreads that randomly appear, all were doing is manipulating this to make the spread we want appear.
am i right in saying this?
