However, I have returned to Smogon after my long absence and I'm ready to start spriting it up. I've actually been itching to do some for a few days now, but couldn't think of anything to do. I've just got into pixel-overing, it's so fun. :3 I know I messed up on Flareon, and Vaporeon was a bitch to shade right.

Nah, they're really cool and it's good to see you're into pixel-overing, but don't EVER save pixel art as jpeg PLEASE!! As soon as you do it ruins all your good work, distorting the image and making it no longer pixel art. Just... NEVER save pixel art as jpeg! Avoid at all costs!!
Like I said though, they're pretty awesome sprites.

.PNG is my preference. Some use .gif or .bmp though, which is fine. It's just .jpeg that fucks shit up >.<
