Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

I need to confirm something so if anyone, who knows how to RNG capture, have any free time i'd like them to help.

I've been abusing on route 208 in platinum for a Sniny Zangoose with this spread 31/28/31/5/31/30 seed 80010268.Zangoose is a GBA slot poke(ruby) and i had it on slot 8.
While i was abusing for it,i also had a Dunsparce Swarm on route 208(slots 0,1).
I hit my seed three consecutive times and did my journal flips correctly.I got a non-shiny Zubat(slot 2,night) each time whose IVs would not show up on the Rng Reporter !?

The i tried to catch Shiny Duncparce which was 2 frames lower than Zangoose, and i got the dunsparce on the first try.

Nexus and I discussed that a little and i decided to get rid of the Swarm and tried again for the Zangoose without the swarm.
Guess what,i got the Shiny Zangoose!
So i think that Swarms and GBAs "conflict" somehow.

So if anyone have the time, could they possiply do the same thing(try to catch a GBA poke while having a swarm on the area at the same time) to confirm this.

ulgh, my Delay has been all over the place, during calibration it was at 635-645 but now i'm hitting things around 611-623. I haven't been able to hit my delay even once in three days, is there any way to control what sort of delay you're hitting? I'm starting to believe this RNG stuff isn't for me :/

How do you RNG for shininess on egg in HGSS? I know how to do it in DPPt, but what advances the RNG in HGSS in place of the coin flips and happiness app double taps?

You take eggs one at a time until the Day Care Man is holding your shiny egg.

RNG Reporter currently doesn't look for shiny egg frames low enough to be convenient (it assumes you make ten happiness taps, and flip to the happiness checker = 34 eggs!), but I have a modified version that searches for low frames. Let me know your ID\SID, and I'll find it for you. (Also let me know if you have international parents.)

Use the Shiny Finder program, and search for a time where the amount of happiness taps is equal to -1 (negative one). Enter the game and catch a pokemon to see if you hit the seed. If you hit the seed you needed, hatch the same amount of eggs equivalent to the amounts of coin flips you would need to do, and you should get a shiny egg. This is what I've heard...I'm pretty sure OmegaDonut told me, though I can't be sure :s

I have international parents, but I'm mostly interested in locking the nature and ability :P

I could try that, too, thanks. But I'm not going to abuse for the seed D= I'd rather just check for it.

Edit: Do I need to hatch them, or is taking them enough? thanks, both, BTW.

Hi everyone.
I started RNG abusing for perfect eggs today, and I'm still collecting data about my usual Seconds and Delay.
But it makes no sense! Here are my times that I have got:

1.- Seconds 54 Delay 602
2.- Seconds 23 Delay 596
3,. Seconds 56 Delay 606
4.- Seconds 56 Delay 606
5,. Seconds 19 Delay 620
6.- Seconds 38 Delay 600
7.- Seconds 18 Delay 600
8.- seconds 13 Delay 608
9.- Seconds 15 Delay 598
10.-Seconds 57 Delay 604
11.-Seconds 43 Delay 600

The seconds vary a lot, I have absolutely no idea why while the delay is usually really similar, which makes no sense.
Why do seconds vary so much? I just press A as fast as possible, but get stupid ammount of seconds and it seems the delay is not proportional.
If someone could help, I'd really appreciate it.

your not aiming for a target time every time you try this you have to set the clock to a certain time of your choice, and the seconds correspond to the time on the DS clock when you hit continue not the amount of seconds it takes you to get there

You still have to toss at least ten eggs before you get to it, since ShinyFinder still accounts for 10 coin flips.

You have to tell me the nature, gender and ability to go for, too. :P

You should hatch the first one or two to make sure you got the right seed.

Oh, I haven't started breeding yet, but I am planning to do it soon, haha. Sorry about that. I'm kind of not paying enough attention to full posts today :·/

On Route 209 how many non-controllable NPCs are there because I advanced the frame to 99 but got something on frame 105
which game are you referring to because in platinum the only moving NPCs are trainers which can be stopped with the VS seeker and the one non trainer does not move

When trying to catch a Pokéradar Pokémon, you use the Pokéradar before doing the journal flips right? So that you can count the steps you do until you reach the patch am I correct? Also, the step you take to to enter the patch of grass which contains the desired Pokémon also advances the RNG? If yes, is it by the same aumount (1) as any other step you take in the grass?

Edit: And what about the monster frame? Is it the same of the sweet scented Pokémon?

Yes to all

Ok, I was trying to abuse for a Mareep. I hit my seed, then used the Pokéradar and subtracted from my target frame, the number of steps (1 step means 1 and a step and a turn which means 2 - this last one was what I had to do to enter the patch of grass) So, 439 - 3 = 436. Then, subtarcted the monster frame: 436 - 2 = 434. And did 217 journal flips: 434/2 = 217. And I hit a frame of 442 instead of 439.
So, I can only conclude one thing: Using the Pokéradar advances the RNG. Is that true?
