No problem. Keep in mind, though, that this was when I named myself "A" so you'll have to account a slight bit more time for giving yourself a longer name. Thanks Misdreavus. Hopefully, I'll be able to RNG my ID when I get HeartGold on Friday.

I tried entering 9 for calibrated and 59 for wanted, but then my delay's very low (only around 1000). When I entered this into Other Delay, the timer went to the 90-second range, and I got a delay in the 7000s...For those who have successfully used Pandora to get a specific TID/SID/etc.: what do I plug into the calibrated/wanted seconds in PikaTimer? It takes me an average of 69 seconds to get past Oak's introduction, and the time I'm aiming for is 22:15:59. Does this mean I should put 9 for the calibrated seconds, 59 for the wanted seconds, then add a minute to the second timer?
well to find your delay you must capture a pokemon and check its IVs to determine your seed, delay, and target time. For advancing frames until you get a shiny egg you take eggs from the daycare advancing the IRNG by 1 with each taken, until the next egg is shiny.Hey RNG'rs I need help on finding out the Differences between Platinum and Heartgold
Finding out Delay
Advacing Frame for Shiny eggs
etc any help is appreciated and credit will be available for any help (partial Credit Redis/SemiRedis only)
Thank you

Sudowoodo is a method K pokemon whose starting frame is 1. I managed to RNG one myself so i tested it out. I think most stationary pokemon start at a frame of 1, additionally they are all method K. What I did was stand in front of it and caught it to check the delay i hit and calibrated my delay until I could hit the one I wanted. I advanced the frames by detuning the radio, a process described by mattj in this post, although you could go into the nearby grass to catch a pokemon to check your seed and do the 128 steps adavancments which is more consistent to perform your frame advancements. Whichever method is ore convenient for you.@Nexus 1 cred lmk when you want to spend :)
okay so what about Stationary pokemon like Sudo and the legends is it the same as Platinum? but more as in sudo I want to get a shiny one how would i approach this delema?
You need your Secret ID to RNG any kind of shiny.Assuming youre not going to use any cheating devices or anything, do you need your SID to RNG any kind of shiny or do you only need it for shiny eggs?

EDIT: here's the post talking about radio detuning:

here's a tip about radio detuning (no credits please) use the bottom right hand station for your detuning it seems to give me the most consistent results, and usually only advances the frames by 1 each time you detune it, I'm not guaranteeing this but its what I found from experience.@Nexus 2 creds again lmk when you want to spend :)
okay thanks Nexus I will try this myself
Any other tips and tricks of any kind for RNG'ing in SS/HG
Legends/EGGS/whatever post here/VM/PM anything if you want to earn some credit :)
What is the starting frame for HO-oh in bell tower? I think its 1 but you can check by just starting the game and catching it without doing anything else and checking its IVs
And is Ho-oh method 1 pokemon? And if it is, do I follow the guide for method 1 pokes, or is it different in HG/SS? It is method K so just follow the same procedure for method J pokemon in D/P except look for method K spreads.
i dint get what you meant by doing the same motion of tapsYour delays are really spread out, try doing the same motion of taps to get to the continue screen to get closer delays. Seconds is 14.
Also thanks Nexus!
Ok, I've decided to start RNGing for perfect eggs. I found my delay and seconds, but I don't know how you get your target time. Do you just invent it? Help please?
@Dragonboy: Try to be more consistent with the rate you are hitting 'A' from the time you reset to the time you hit continue. You need to have a smaller variance in your average delay.
