Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

I'm not sure if I understand the Open Search in the RNG Reporter Seed Finder correctly. It seems to just give me lots of seeds with high delays unless I'm mistaken.
thats what its supposed to do, it generates a large number of initial seeds that give you the spread you want at a variety of delays and frames. The frames displayed correspond to the method 1 frames.

Anybody care to explain to me how to find out how to abuse Honey Tree pokemon? I already know how to get the stats of a poke. I just need to know if its anything like fishing or stuff like that.

I was RNGing for Kyogre today.

I was saved outside the cave.

Once I got into the game I entered the cave immediately. This supposedly advances the frame by 1.
I walked 3 128 steps which advanced the frame by 15.
15+1=16
Kyogre's starting frame is 1.
16+1=17.

The frame I got was 17.

Any logical explanation?

I just used Sudowuddo in calibrating my initial seeds/delays in conjunction with Metalkid's IV Calculator, since I don't have more than 10 rare candies yet.
But I also tested to RNG a shiny of it, which I just did, after long grueling hours (which I did some mistake before in my timing when to SR).

A recommendation of RNGing Pokes with NPCs in the area is to choose only a max frame of 1, and mash the A button after you hit continue (usually it has bigger delays, so you'll be using PikaTimer or Emloop) so that you'll "talk" to the Pokemon first before the NPCs start moving.

Next thing I'll do is to RNG Raikou. There's a guide how to do it, but I think it's only about if you already beat E4.
So, is there a guide in RNGing Raikou/Entei before Elite 4?

EDIT: I think there's a guide from Newts_Ute, but where in particular? Any links?

Anybody know a good way to keep track of how many times you've advanced the RNG when you have to do it a couple thousand times?
What game are you using? If it's D/P/Pt, I actually have RNG'd for a Cresselia whose frame was in the 5000s, and perhaps I can offer some advice. I filled every page in the Journal except the first and last with catch/defeat data, and noted that every time I flipped from the front to the back or vice versa, I advanced the frame by 16 (8 pages times 2 advances per page). I counted the number of times I flipped from one end to the other and also noted which end of the Journal was which (if I was at the front end, I've done it an even number times, and vice versa for the back and odd numbers). It took 300+ trips from one end of the Journal to the other, and I took a break every 100 trips through to maintain my sanity. :p

Really, though, if you can hit high delays with a timer, you should be able to find the same spread you want at a much lower frame with a high delay if you search for a high delay in PokeRNG (try up to 3000).

It's on the front page. One from Romaastar and one from Newts_Ute, but that's for E4.

For before E4 you can just find your seed by catching a pokemon and advance accordingly, while being careful for NPC's.

Anything past 2000 don't do. What you can do is take the iv's and time of your spread and open up Seed Finder.
Go to by IV's.
Fill in the information and click open search and offset.
It will give you a list of seeds that have a high delay and low frame. You can use emloop timer to help you achieve those high delays. The guide is right here or here.

Can anyone answer my question?

I doubt I'm reading this right, but you said:
Entering the cave = 1
3 128 step segments = 15
So that's 16 frame advances, so you should end up with 17 as you start on 1. Right?

Here's a guide I used successfully. Let me know if you need any help following the instructions. Thanks to gameman87 for posting this!

The logical explanation for your calculations being exactly the frame you landed on? Do I miss your point here? Did you expected to miss the frame? 15 + 1 from entering the cave = 16 + 1 from Kyogre = 17, that is exactly the one you got.

The explanation is still logical. Doing all of the steps you took, you would get a frame of 17. So you're going to have to tune/detune the radio once before you enter the cave, I suppose.

EDIT: Beaten.

I forgot to put my target frame was 18. XD
Just because your target frame is 18, it doesn't change magically change the calculations. Everything still says that you should get frame 17.

EDIT: Beaten twice, but mine is on a new page :P

Wow I just fail at math. >.> I swear I did something else. Hmm.

EDIT:! I was supposed to ask what was another way of raising it to 18?
Use the Radio to the Bottom Right. If it is Pokemon Search Party, then it will advance your frame by 1.

EDIT: Thanks Nexus. I meant Right, not sure why I typed left.

Oh BTW, I think I never know the answer of this, but...
What will be the spread instead if just for example my target frame for a certain legend with frame 1, is 5, but I instead encounter it when I lack 1 frame, such as advancing the frames by 3...
3+1 (Legend's frame is 1) = 4
How will I know it using RNG Reporter?

I need to know that mechanic so I can plan accordingly in RNGing Raikou and/or Entei, with my desirable spread.

Will Entei's seed be like that of Raikou when I capture the latter first?
(Because Entei's frame will turn into 1, am I right??)

Second question...
Because the floor where Raikou/Entei is have other wild pokes, then will be their total frames..., provided I save just 1 step away from a spot that triggers them to run, become 2 and 7? Because 1 step on an area with wild pokes advance the frame by 1.

[1] Look at the nature and then see if it corresponds with Frame 4. If it does than try and calculate the IVs to see if it matches that spread.
[2] Raikou and Entei are both calculated when they are released, not when they are captured. Therefore, the only way to get a frame 1 Entei is to capture Raikou and faint Entei, then beat the Elite 4 and Entei will be frame 1 when it is rereleased.
[3] No. It will be 1 and 6. That step won't affect the frame at all.
