(Ok, first time back into pokemon in about 3 years, so I'm way out of date on a lot of things. I've only just started with rng abusing decent-spread shiny legendaries.)
How does one go about making sure you are rng-ing for the right species of Poke in the wild? Emerald RNG-ing seems to involve just redo-ing the process if the species ends up being the wrong one. I haven't found any statement of this sort regarding DPP in any of the guides.
About how many frames at max would you guys consider RNG-ing for in DPP (capturing method-wise; I don't know if the frame counts are different for RNG breeding)? I've been setting the max frame to be 4-5K. I don't know if that's considered a lot or a little.
Is there any way to tell where the shiny+multi-31 spreads are for my id/sid without simply setting my max frame search to ridiculously high levels (does that even work?)?
Encounter Slots. Every Frame of a Seed has a different Encounter Slot, RNG Reporter tells you about that and it helps you by calculating them which you can find out then by a Sheet which RNG Reporter links you to.
For the max frame: it depends. I'm lazy and so I rarely even go over 500.
It is always the High Delay vs High Frame Question, High Delay is worth it.
But yeah I've also heard already of guys reaching 4K and higher but this is rather rare if you ask me.
ID Finder. Very first page of this thread.
Also OmegaDonut has worked out a nice way to get multiple nice shiny spreads, check his sig for that .
I think that stands out above all else as ALMOST necessary.... lol
I'm rather eagerly waiting for mingot impelementing the Seed Verifier, as this was one of the things that actually are needen most if you ask me.xD
HG/SS IV Breeding yeah nice, but with Kazos Breeding Method (only B inheritance) and his worked out spread it also worked out fine. So Seed Verifier is more important to me :P
