If I have an Aipom that knows run-away when it becomes ambipom will it know technician or could it switch to pickup?

Also if it knew pickup does it stay pickup or could it switch?
 
If I add Honey to a tree in Platinum.. can I just increase the time on my DS to make the tree have a Pokemon automatically?
 
Can I mimic a move that was mimiced in a double battle?

Joe's Dragonite used Hyper Beam!
My Mr. Mime mimic'd it!
My Mr. Mime used Hyper Beam!
(Then could someone mimic that, even if the move wasn't originally the user's?)

You should be able to mimic a mimiced move in a double battle because the mimic is "replaced" with the mimiced move until you switch out.
 
Yo, I'm here trying to get into competitive battling =p I've been breeding modest Nasty Plot Togepis with hopes of getting one with at least 3 IVs being 31. Getting kinda sick of it so the best I have so far is 31/12/5/31/17/28. I'm probably gonna stick with this one for now. I was gonna give it this EV spread: 252 HP / 152 SpA / 104 Spe. Question is, should I take 12 EVs away from SpA and put them into Spe to compensate for the Spe IV not being perfect?

Well you'd have to look at the OverUsed tier, and see what you're trying to outrun. With a Normal/Flying sweeper like Togekiss, you're wanting to outrun common sweepers with Rock, Electric, and Ice moves: Tyranitar, Electivire, Mamoswine, etc. who can have up to speeds of 221, 289, and 259 as long as their nature powers their offense. As Togekiss's speed at Modest nature can only reach 259, you would most likely want to raise it more to outrun others that could do serious damage.

Simple answer, yes. Whatever the analysis wants it to outrun is obviously important enough to do so and the 12 extra EVs will compensate for the lower IV.
 
So I got a Tyranitar from some random guy and it has all 31 IV's. I want to use it in a Regional Tournament, but I don't know if it's hacked or not. Is there anyway to tell?

I'd probably just go with it's hacked. If the guy knew about RNG or atleast breeding I might consider it legit, but you have to be insanely lucky to get a hex flawless. That said though, I did get a quint perfect adamant Eevee while I was breeding Timid ones so it can happen. Was this caught in something besides a Pokeball and if so what's its Nature? You can't catch a hex flawless Pokemon in the wild except for a few natures like Timid and Modest.

It was hatched from an egg, and is quite nature.
 
How do egg moves work? Like, I know how they work, but if I get a Flying Pikachu in my Pokéwalker I can breed it to get more flying Pikachus? So, why can't I teach a Smeargle both Surf and Fly and breed it like that?

Only moves that can be learned by leveling up are passed down by breeding two parents who know the move (you can get Spore on a Shroomish by breeding two Breloom that know it, but you can't do the same with Stone Edge).

Yeah, but Surf and Fly aren't exactly level up moves. Are you saying they're treated like level up moves and therefore I can't even breed my male Pikachu with a Ditto to get a Flying Pichu? Cause that sucks D;

But I could breed a Flying Pikachu with a Flying Smeargle to get a Flying Pichu? But not one with both Surf and Fly? Jeez breeding sure is hard.

Bulbapedia says this: "The Pokémon will start with any TM or HM moves (and starting in Crystal, move tutor moves) that the father knows and the baby can also learn by machine."

Since Pichu can't learn Fly or Surf by HM, you cannot breed those moves onto a Pichu.

What would work well in the last slot here, assuming I keep all the other teammates? Thanks, I'd post a RMT, but I need a 6th first!
