Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

Guys I need an answer and a really important answer! I am on my seed and advancing the frame using the Elm Method ( ok it only advances 1 frame per call but I think its the most safe way) SO i am following Seed Verifier and I have a doubt.

Lemme example this:

43: PKRS~ 61520f2a
44: PKRS~ d50ba155
45: PKRS~ 9dd9f7a4
46: PKRS~ cc1ac947
47: Kanto~ c4a5b5ae

Imagine I am calling him, and got 4 pkrs in a row after the forth PKRs (the 46 one) I am on frame 47 or I am on frame 46?
 
I'm having some trouble hitting my delay on the correct seconds using a high delay:
I am using emloop, and the two timers are set at 40.00 seconds and 45.63 seconds.
Every time I enter the game, I am hitting the "A" button exactly on the second so that I should enter the game at 25 seconds (40 + 45 = 85 = 1:25). I keep entering the game at obscure seconds.
1st - 5th attempt: 27 seconds
Which confused me, so I decreased the first timer on emloop to 38 seconds.
6th - 8th attempt: 23 seconds
Wtf. I increased the timer to 42 seconds.
9th attempt: 23 seconds

I have not had trouble hitting high delays before, so I don't know what is wrong with this...in case you're wondering, the seed is: c60e0cc1

Does anybody know what the hell is going on with my RNG? I have tried using different date/times to enter the game but they all yield fucked up results. Any help?
 
Help in Breeding.

Tell me what I am doing wrong...
I was experimenting to get a shiny egg, while breeding 2 parents while the female one was holding an everstone (to get the desired nature quickly).
I got the desired nature on the 2nd egg.
In Shiny Egg finder, I chose the seed 8F020275 with a frame of 12 displayed there.

I copied and pasted the seed to the RNG Reporter's main screen, selected Breeding (HGSS) as the method, and clicked generate.
The IVs listed there in frame 12 is 13/A/B/20/B/11.
(I know the IVs are not good, but since this is my first time then I'm just experimenting yet)

I hatched the egg, but it wasn't shiny, although it has the same IVs listed above.
I swear my frames and delays are correct (I verified the frame using elm call 11 times)

Does that mean I have to wait for several hours hatching them eggs until I get the desired nature/ability/gender?
Is that that hard here in HGSS to abuse for egg PIDs?

Is it possible your computer's suffering from slowdown or something that's messing emloop up?

1) Soft reset at an exact minute, caught Suicune, found my initial seed + delay.
2) Did that 3 times, got about 490 and 13sec as my average delay.
3) Found a good spread, seed df1401ec with 482 delay @ 20:56:59 Frame 8.
4) Set my clock/calender to that time, SR'd at 20:56:43 and hit continue exactly at 20:56:59, all 3 roamers up +1 for Suicune = 4 RNG advances, called Youngster Joey twice.
5) Caught Suicune, not the right one, turned out to be B214143E 13 seconds 5172 delay.

What in the dear god hell did I do to get that delay? What am I doing wrong?

OK, how would I adapt this for a poke randomly in the grass? I have to switch method J to K, but how do I determine which poke I want and all that junk?
 
Use Sweet Scent to catch the Pokémon, accounting for the frame advance using SS will give (Apparently it can change depending on your partner Pokémon, so use a bike and it should be 1). As to what Pokémon you'll get, you have to check the encounter slot tables... I'm not sure if any have been made up for HG yet. There are some posts about how to calculate them for HG/SS earlier in the thread, something about mod 100...
 
I can't seem to understand the whole shiny egg procedure. It appears that I'm stuck.
None of the guides seem to help me.
I tried finding a shiny spread at frame 1 or 2.

I think it would be better to give me an example how to have a shiny egg.

Just an example, I've chosen a Naive nature, ability #0, and female combo, at frame 1.
It says there the time is 4:36:40, on April 15, 2010, at 602 delay.

How will I achieve that PID?

It could be better if the examples given is very specific and detailed.

Hmmm. I hit my delay and verified with the Roamers.
I'm saved right outside Lugia's cavern. I went inside to catch Lugia just to see if my turning around, walking into the cave and up to Lugia would advance the frame by some number I'd need to account for later. I ended up getting a mild Lugia with spread 6/23/29/17/8/26 that was nowhere to be found on my list of frames and spreads.
My seed is a40402fe. There are 7 or 8 frames I can hit around the 530 frame range, according to the list I generated on the main page of RNGReporter by plugging in: Method K, Timid as Synch Nature, max result of 600, starting frame of 0, my seed, and my 06148/42843 ID/SID combo, and nothing else (I don't think checking the Roamers boxes at the bottom makes a difference). I'm pretty sure I'm generating the right list of spreads since I found my seed using PokeRNG and the frame it gave me is on the list RNGReporter is giving me. Is there something I'm doing wrong or something that I'm missing?

Because you hit A50402FE, one second later. And you're not advancing nearly as far as you think, because you hit a frame somewhere before 131.

What are you doing to advance, anyway? And why are you not plugging those IVs into the Time Finder, to find your actual seed and frame?

I'm afraid revised guides aren't coming until after RNG Reporter has been mostly finalized, so we don't have to keep redoing them. Don't hold your breath waiting.

In the meantime, go grab that egg. You don't have to do anything special, just make sure you hit your seed, put in your parents, and bike around till the Day-Care Man's holding your shiny egg. As usual, you should save in front of him and test the egg first, just to make sure everything went fine.

Oi, I had completely forgotten about the Time Finder. I thought I hit the seed since the Roamers were in the right places, and just kept looking through the list.
And I'm not sure what you mean about the advancing, since I haven't tried advancing the frames at all yet. I was just making sure I didn't complete a 128 step counter on my way to Lugia from outside the cave or anything.
And now that I've checked with Time Finder, it says that I got the Lugia on Frame 3. Seed Verifier says that my starting frame should be 3. And Lugia's Monster Frame is 1, so shouldn't I have caught a Frame 4 Lugia then? (Given that my entering the cave and walking up to Lugia hasn't appeared to advance the frame any) Or does the Starting Frame reported by Seed Verifier already include a Monster Frame of 1? I don't see any clarification about this in the guide.

Sorry, I should have said Seed Finder, not Time Finder.

You have a few things wrong. If it says your starting frame is 3, that means without any advancements you will catch a Lugia on frame 3.

However...

That Lugia you caught is not frame 3. It is frame 4. (It says so, right when I plug in the seed in the main window and use the Method K list.) Which means an extra advancement occurred - perhaps you forgot to put down the previous postions of your roamers, when you last saved?
 
So to achieve the desired PID, I have to save standing in front of the Daycare Lady, right?

And if I checked my seed after that soft-resetting and hitting the delay via Elm Method, and if its correct, then I'll bring the 2 parents to the daycare lady for breeding, right?

Just to make sure if I'm right.

The egg PID RNG is totally separate and doesn't advance like the regular RNG. You can walk around for hours and the regular RNG will have advanced 10 thousand times, but egg PID RNG will stay the same - unless an egg is produced. You can save anywhere you like.

Other than that, you have the right idea.

So when is the egg PID generated?
Only when the parents are already in the daycare and the Daycare man is holding an egg?
Or is it when you put the parents for the first time in the Daycare?

BTW, how will I make the egg have a desired or specific PID?
How will I make it have that specific PID?
Does it take several hours or even days to do that?

Eh, I ended up not really understanding what I did wrong here. But regardless I used the inconsistent Poketalk radio channel to advance (38 times) and then advanced 6 more with 128-step-ing. I'm assuming I landed on 538 frames, given that my previous trial (and error. There were a lot of these.) that involved 38 poketalks and 8 128-steps landed me on either 540 or 504, the former being more likely since the guide says that poketalk advances 14-18. However, I don't think the 538 I finally landed on does not include the starting frame of 3, so I'm not quite sure what happened. But I got it! So thank you very much Omega.
 
RNG abuse HGSS starters on the cart?

Hey guys, I just gave this thread a thorough reading so I'm really sorry if this has been covered already, but is it possible to RNG abuse the HGSS starters on the cart? Are certain Trainer IDs better for RNG abusing shiny HGSS starters? Are there any other tips or tricks for getting a shiny starter, specifically Cyndaquil?

Thanks in advance for your time and sorry again if it's already been covered, I tried searching the thread and didn't find any satisfactory answer for the carts.

The only EASY way to abuse a shiny starter on a retail cart is abusing your ID/SID specifically to make a spread you want to use on your starter shiny. That means searching for a IV/Nature spread that occurs on the starting frame of your starter, getting it's PID, and using this on Pandora's Box to make that spread shiny.

Because it's impossible to control the frame advances on that part of the game, you need to use NPC Movements to do that, and as you know, it's totally random.

Even then it's still the shit because you have no method to verify your seed.
It's pretty hard and not worth it.
