Iv'e read the Mewtwo pre-analysis, and on the LO set it praticularly mentiones F-Blast, but on the Specs set Flamethrower; does this have any importancy? Should Fire Blast be used on Choice Specs Mewtwo?

I'd assume Fireblast is to get certain KOs on certain mons on the LO set; however, with specs, Mewtwo's flamethrower is as strong as LO fireblast (probably getting the same KOs as the LO one) and you really can't afford to miss with a choiced mewtwo so flamethrower is better for it.
 
Haunter, can you please address the roaming legendaries in D/P/Pt and HG/SS in the first post? That's pretty much all that comes up on these threads now

Still, isn't Fire a medicore atacking type in Ubers?
Also, what made coverage more important than STAB in Ubers? Is it the complete lack of balance in type diversity?
 
no, its the fact most ubers are psychic and psychic is NVE against psychic, pokemons like palkia still run spacial rend because dragon is SE on dragon, another very common type on ubers.
 
yes but it kill dark type pokemons, or to put it short, darkray while also killing steel types like dialga(neutral to fire) and heatran(immune to fire) while also getting great coverage with ice beam and/or shadow ball.
 
i was just wondering how tiers are determined and who creates them

and how are hidden algorithms in the games discovered :)
 
tiers are determinated by smogon, a program itself who base the pokemon tier around usage has far i know, BL and ubers are controlled by real persons though.

Could I drop Aura Sphere for Ice Beam/Thunder/Shadow Ball?
 
yes, it get good coverage though most of the time he run taunt+Cm so he gotta pick 2 of those. on a scarf set those 3 types are also used with shadow ball sometimes. he also got thunder for kyogre. you are free to play around with his awesome special movepool. aura sphere can be droped if dialga and heatran are not a big problem but watch out for darkray.
 
never use psychic, think first what you are going to hit with psychic, what in the uber tier you are going to hit with psychic that is not going to get hit harder by any other move? groundon eat ice beam, kyogre eat thunder and i wont even mention steels and darks.
 
ice beam is a must most of the time but the other moves can change depending on personal needs, with fire bast scizor wont stand a chance against mewtwo, thunder allow you to beat kyogre 1 on 1, shadow ball allow you to hit other psychics and etc etc. i would run ice beam, thunder and aura sphere/fire blast myself but that is just me.
