First Team (OU - Originated from Wi-Fi, trying to not use Legendaries)

Honestly, I don't get the people who go NO LEGENDARIES >:(

Some legendaries are absolutely pitiful, such as Articuno or Entei. Hell, you're using Salamence, who's as powerful AS some legendaries.

But I digress.

At first I thought you had three water types, but for some reason you have a Starmie sprite for Scizor.

Honestly, two bulky waters is a waste. If you're that paranoid about Gyarados, might I recommend Porygon2. He's fits the defensive niche of Vaporeon and is a complete check to Gyarados, who traces the Intimidate. Give him Toxic or T-Wave, and he's supporting your team even more than Wish can.

Yeah, I messed up the sprites and fixed them but you ninja'ed me :P Apologies for the confusion.

The no Legendaries rule is just for fun, I agree with you. The Ubers tier left out some of the Legendaries for a reason, after all. However, isn't Latias still debatable?

Ahh, Porygon2, Porgon-Z diverted my attention from Porygon2. I will have to look into this!

Thanks!

As Korali said, you don't really need two bulky waters on this team. It is offensively based and it would be more suitable using Anti-Sweepers as your Gyrados check. You could try Weezing with Haze and WoW. You could use Mesprit or P-2. Your choices are endless.

A personal favourite of mine is actually Gardevoir.

If your having problems with pokémon taking status, I advise you take out Gengar for a ResTalk Heatran. In my experience SubSplit Gengar never pulls his weight, as his subs are broken very easily and Focus Blast has dismal / unreliable accuracy.
Underlining this: Remove Gengar for a Heatran.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
Nature: Calm
EVs: 240HP / 236SpDef / 32Spe
Moves:
- Flamethrower / Lava Plume
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Roar

Also, change the EV Spread on Vaporeon to 188HP / 252Def / 68Spe.

Expand your descriptions for Gengar, Scizor and Vaporeon or I'll have to lock this.

My apologies, I'll rearrange it. I was explained some of my reasoning and purposes prior to the Pokemon and I didn't think it was necessary to type it again. I'll just shift it down :)

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I will have to go with Porygon2 for now because of Ice Beam. However, if I see that Wish is important, I will switch to Gardevoir.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, for now I'm trying to not use Legendaries. I am in the process of creating a team of just OU with no restrictions. However, due to rules I cannot post it yet, and the fact that it is not yet complete.

For Vaporeon, as everyone has been suggesting, 2 Bulky Waters is unnecessary. For now, I will be using Porygon2 unless/until I find a better 6th member.

Thanks for the link to a similar team. Will read :)

Thank you everyone!
