Maybe they'll finally make Pokémon with the ??? type!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
Curse would have the same effect as if it were ghost type. It would have no weaknesses and no resists!

If there's an alternate Koffing evolution that's Poison/Steel with Levitate, what's the point of Weezing unless the new Pokemon sucks defensively?

What you think is the best idea is the worst in Japan. A "Good" type is not what they are looking for. And as I said , the opposite of Dark is not Light.
I will admit there is the issue with Dark being Evil type in Japanese and a few other languages. But that doesn't preclude a Light type that's Light in all languages, it just means it won't obviously oppose Dark in the Japanese. Light would stand on its own as a typing even if we didn't have Dark.

I don't know to what extent Japan has the whole light=good, dark=evil thing that Western civilizations and mythology have.

Now that would be amazing.
I was watching some fake gen. 5 stuff or whatever, and there was a Weezing evo named "Choaking", lol Clever stuff.

That wouldn't be that same pic that the artist designed about a full game set worth of pokemon? before the starters were out, was it?

They had a Skarmory prevo and evo, same with Seviper. The guy wasn't very inventive, alot were prevos/evos for old pokemon, but I loved some of his new ideas.

Like a Steel/Flying Blimp pokemon that evolves into a Zeppelin. Also the second Ghost 3-Stage line too. And the Ghost/Grass Pumpkin Ghost looked creepy.

I was sadface since these won't be used.

Special Sweeper with an ability that makes any attack from it hitting the Blissey line be a OHKO.

I can think of a battling innovation: cross attacks. By which I mean, attacks that use Atk against SpDef, or SpA against Def.

That sounds interesting.

Join the club.

I'm actually quite fond of Zekrom.
But then again, I'm planning on buying Black version, and I heard the mascots are going to be contrasting colors, so the main legendary for Black would be Reshiram, and for white it would be Zekrom...
Sigh >__<

I absolutely love the cross attack idea :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe give it an ability specifically against it to counter it. It might be good then. I just feel a Steel typing can help Poison to be defensive. Since they aren't improving its aggressive ability, upping its defense is another option. Maybe give it a move, Corruption. Weather effect that gives acid rain. Ups the power of Poison moves and maybe increase the chance of Poisoning happening from a move?

I dunno. I feel this is poison's time to shine. They and maybe Ghost should get first picks to inventive new type combinations.

I agree. Poison is about to move on up in the world, especially since with the urbanized Isshu region, pollution is bound to follow. And where there's pollution, there's tons of Grimer! And hopefully others. Maybe some town is just so ridden with waste and smog that our favorite Poison types will all evolve if leveled up there (kinda like Magneton evolving in the powerful magnetic field of Mt. Coronet).

Muk and Weezing evos seem likely, and I would welcome them with open arms! I keep thinking Muk could become Poison/Rock or Poison/Ground (picking up dirt/rocks in it's body as it moves). that would give it some better STAB (albeit more weaknesses...). Weezing seems like it should stay pure Poison, to me; I can't really think of a typing that makes sense for it, so that might be why. :/

Gen IV got the idea of some random evolutions in our minds (Tangela, Piloswine, Togetic, Magneton, etc.)--certainly, the Pokemon we saw evolve were not the Pokemon we expected to make a comeback (or in Dusclops' case, gain a huge pile of Attack and not much else). I still have my fingers crossed for other Poison-types like Swalot, Arbok, Seviper, Ariados, and Qwilfish to get their evolutionary freak on, in addition to the much-desired evolutions to Farfetch'd/Jynx/Muk/Pachirisu/whatever else people really want to see evolve. Isshu gives us a relatively feasible environment for Poison-types to flourish; honestly, how much toxic sludge was sitting around in Kanto, waiting for Grimer to grow from it?

I think they tried to cover up racism by putting the Reshiram and Zekrom on their opposite colors. Too bad it's probably not gonna work though.
It's called Pokemon Black and White. Not Pokemon African American and Pokemon Caucasian.

I don't like the idea of evos having new evos, all too much. But I'll be okay with it. I'm more on the Pokemon with no evos having evolutions. Then the Pokemon who really need pre-evolve forms. Where like Kangaskan could have the baby in it's pouch a potential baby form. And then the others.

If there's a status that halves Special Attack like how Burn halves Attack, I think it should be confusion. I know SpA =! Int and Special Attacks =! Magic, but it's close enough.

As far as a Weezing evolution goes, I don't see how they could make it thematically similar to it without making it look like some kind of tumor.

Whats the problem with single stand alone Pokemon with good stats? I was, and am, a big fan of the original Magmar/Jynx/Scyther/Tauros etc. All Pokemon who had good stats for generation 1. I don't understand why everything has to get an evolution. GF always fuck it up anyway, and end up just creating exaggerated, fatter versions of the pre-evolutions.
