Ur DDMence weak. Only Magnezone resists Outrage but it is OKHOed by Earthquake.
Id recommend using Mixed ScarfApe to take care of that.

You may want to consider running sub or protect on gengar for better scouting

maybe hidden power ice for MixMence

If i were to use Infernape, who would I take out?

And for the Gengar Scouting, Would tbolt be okay to remove for a Protect?

I got your PM and am here to help!

Don't run scarfape, that's an awful way to check scarfmence. I would run scarfachi, who is far better because her ice pucnh doesn't miss all of the time like stone edge does, she's a lot less frail and she can actually switch into mence once you bait an outrage by sending out your own Salamence. Run this in place of Umbreon, who is pretty useless right now actually.

The same goes for your Swampert, CursePert needs entry hazards support and works better on stall teams and should probably be replaced. If you want to keep the handy ground typing for electric attacks and thunder waves, I'd try Gliscor to beat stall (which you're also pretty weak to).

As for Gengar, yes get rid of Thunderbolt for Substitute.

That's all I got. In the future, try to have a strategy in mind when making a team instead of simply mashing together good pokemon. These are all good sets, but they won't always work so well as a whole. I wish you the best in your future as a competitive pokemon player and good luck with the team.

Hey, I forgot to mention, if you run Substitute Gengar can use leftovers a lot better due to him basically getting two chances to hit and because the leftovers heal the substitute damage. Also Substitute + Life Orb + sandstorm? can mean a lot of residual damage. Of course, the drop in power will certainly be noticeable, so it really comes down to preference: do you want a Gengar with a guarenteed kill-per-match, luring in opponents and 0hkoing them, or a somewhat anoying Gengar that deals damage but won't seem to die? Personal choice her- I couldn't really recommend you one way or the other.

Yeah looking at that now. That is alot of dmg that adds up overtime. And the leftovers will be nice to heal any damage I do manage to take before/after sub. I think ill try out the leftover idea for a while and see how it works out.

Since im losing out on LO on Gengar, would it be a good idea to switch to Modest Nature instead of Timid? Or would the loss of speed be suicidal in most cases?

Hello!

Just a quick rate here because I'm going to dinner, I see a Scarftran weakness, especially scarftran that runs Fire Blast/Earth Power/Dragon Pulse/Explosion

I suggest that you use a Swampert lead, running Stealth Rock/Waterfall/Earthquake/Ice Beam or Protect or Roar.

Good Luck!

By switching to a LeadPert with SR/EQ/Waterfall/Roar would I be losing out on Aerodactyl as a lead?

Well, the only the only thing you will be losing out on is a quick SR user and a taunter, but that is not much of a drawback tbh because entry hazourds don't really hurt your team too much. Besides Pert has bulk and counters Heatran.

Ill consider trying out the Lead Swap on Shoddy.

Is the nature change on Gengar a wise choice, still?

Made some changes to team, mainly the lead swap from Aerodactyl to Swampert. And the different IV spread on Magnezone (since the defensive spread wasnt working out too well on him).

Gengar @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EV’s: 252 SpAtk / 252 Speed / 6 HP
Nature: Timid
Moves:
· Shadow Ball
· Substitute
· Focus Blast
· Hidden Power (Fire)
Reason for pkmn: Gengar is an awesome Special Sweeper! Reason I picked Gengar was because of him being a Ghost type and allows me to guard against Rapid Spin, Fighting, Ground, and Normal type moves! Reason for choosing Life Orb was simple because it adds more BANG to Gengar’s attacks, which are already strong as it is. The first three moves were a no-brainer. It was the Hidden Power type that I had trouble with. I narrowed it down to Fire and Ice. So if someone sees that I need to change to Ice for any reason please say! *Changed Thunderbolt to Substitute*
So after looking at my team, I'm still wondering if it would be a good idea to change Gengar's nature to "Modest." Since i removed the "Life Orb" with Leftovers to better support Substitute. Would it be wise to make this nature switch since the loss of LO's extra power?

So, I tested the team out on Shoddy if that was ok with you. But if your Gengar goes down then you will have Trouble with Infernape for Sure if Gengar goes down. Not to mention Weavile can come in And Revenge kill Gengar and Salamence with Ice Shard @ Pursuit. But, Weavile arent very common now a day you will see them Rarely.

Give Gengar Protect, Over sub to Scout choice user without losing 25% Health. Plus, Give him back the LO to Fragile anyway i wont last very long. But, Im Guessing if Sally gets a DD Under his Belt then Infernape wont really Cause to much of a Threat.

On Another Note Vappy Can make a Good Check to Infernape

Iv been looking on Gengar and I think this setup might work with the team and want to know what others think about this Gengar:

Gengar @ Choice Specs

Ability: Levitate
EV’s: 158 SpAtk / 252 Speed / 100 HP
Nature: Timid
Moves:
· Shadow Ball
· Sludge Bomb
· Focus Blast
· Hidden Power (Fire) / (Ice)?

This Item choice and ev spread gives Gengar 501 SpAtk. And Sludge Bomb being a STAB move helps. I know with this set I would lose out on the scouing capabiities on Gengar, but offers far more damaging potential. Just curious to see what others think about it.

OMG NO!!! DON'T EXPLODE YOUR MAGNEZONE!!! IT'S TO VITAL TO YOUR Mence!!!! Put Magnet Rise instead of Explosion that way EQ doesnt OHKO you! Put those EVs into HP! And change Zone's nature to Modest or Timid. You should run Outrage on Mence over D Claw becuase Steels are KOed by Zone and cannot soak up Outrages.

Explosion need to be on zone just in case that blissey is really starting to get annoying

Yeah, I have thought about many times changing Magnezone's moveset around. There has been many battles where I did wish I had Magnet Rise, And times where Explosion is really helpful. I really like both moves, and it stinks i have to chose between the two. But at this time I think Ill stick with Explosion, Even though Explosion can be evaded if my opponet swithes in a Ghost type. And there has been times where Zone has been stuck taking an EQ, and sadly those are the times I wish he had Magnet Rise. Magnet Rise seems to be the safest route for him, and Explosion for the all-out style.
