But if that is what you were tying to say in the first place then a thousand sorries. XD
No I really do want to see a shared prevo for them but now that I really think about it, it's not very likely.

If it comes to that, it kinda makes me wonder. If there ARE 3v3 battles, and they DO all share 1 HP bar, do you think they'd introduce it like they morph all the pokemon together, like add there HP and ATTK and DEF and SPDs to make one giant pokemon that gets to use 3 moves out of 12?
Although highly unlikely*, it would be interesting :o
*.00001%, if not less.
That's called fanservice. Something for the fans of the orignals to mak their favourite pokes stronger. Generaly a smart thing to do.That's what I'm thinking: Tauros is just fine by GameFreak standards, but not only did Dusclops and co. evolve anyway, they seem to be intent on writing a love letter to Generation I (how many non-legendary Generation I Pokemon haven't yet been given evolutions or baby forms? Like, three or four?).
Also: bulls are just male cows, aren't they? I mean, it's real-world biology that makes people want to call Tauros and Miltank "counterparts". They're not like Scyther vs. Pinsir, sure, but if they both had evolutions, their BSTs could be equalized and thus set everything right.
Oh dear, BSTs I completely forgot. They actually have equal base stats already, resting at 490 each. Perhaps this is another reason they are considered counterparts.
On a slightly unrelated topic, I would much rather have more evolutions that pre-evolutions. Pre-evolutions just seem a tad... forgettable. I never think of Pokemon like Elekid and Happiny, and they just do not seem very useful in most regards. They DO lower the amount of steps you have to take while hatching an egg, which is very useful when trying to get a certain nature or IVs, but otherwise they simply seem unneeded.
Superpower is a move that only pokemon with an attack stat of base 130 or higher can learn. Tauros is sitting at 100 if I remember correctly.
That's not true at all. Regice has 50 base Attack and there are plenty in between that and 130.

The way I see it, the Pokemon that got Super Power from the move Tutor were Pokemon that already got it from level up or breeding and Pokemon that have 120+ Base Atk. There are some exception, though; for example, Salamence doesn't get it.
You can give pokes new moves without the babies. Like HGSS did.Pre-evos give pokemon new moves.
Granted these new moves are sometimes worthless, but w/e.
I don't see what superpower would be doing for Tauros anyways so why does it matter? He already gets Earthquake for steels and rock types and the only ones that he doesnt hit with EQ are Skarmory and Bronzong, and Superpower doesn't hit them for supereffective damage anyways. (Stone edge already hits Skarmory for neutral too). In other words, it isn't really helpful to him. What he needs is a stat-up move, like swords dance. His evolution might get it, especially since its bipeadal.

Stone Edge will never OHKO Skarmory, even with +6 Attack, but Superpower could. Tauros wouldn't mind the stat drop either, since +5 is still enough to destroy most of the OU tier. Tauros could definitely work with Swords Dance, but I must calmly correct that no evolution for Tauros has been announced, as only fake fanart was released as a Tauros evolution.
