and make ev training a hell, i wont even know WHAT i am fighting for god sake and i wont even have the chance to decide if i want to flee(not get wrong evs) or really fight. also just because a poke is higher level dont mean he will always win, you could trade to a kid a level 100 heracross and he wont need to do a shit in the entire game because its auto win.

Point taken. It just gets so damn old backtracking for an item or something and fighting a wild pokemon every 4 or 5 steps, just brainstorming for ways to expedite things.
i know what you mean and i agree that its a pain in the ass to walk around being atacked by level 3 rattatas, but what if i want that level 3 rattata? yup, the little kids often catch pokemons they like, not caring if they are strong or low level. sure pokemon is becoming more mature, but i am sure gamefreak wont make mature enough so that the kids cant play anymore.
i remember walking around a shop and seeing a kid with a DS using a milotic against a pokemon i forgot who it was, if he cared about power then he would be using a starmie instead, but when i asked him, he said:i use milotic because i think its a pretty cute pokemon! when i heard those words, i finally got what nostagia means.

That's when repels and max repels come in handy. I think they should make a hold item that completely prevents wild Pokemon from appearing. I literally got sick of seeing Bibarel.
I don't think you all understand the scope of this region. I went into Paint and Copy Pasted the area of Hiun City. About 12 Hiun City's can fit into the Isshu Region, and we've seen just how large the city is (we haven't even seen it all, either). It looks to be even larger than Celadon and on par with Saffron City. In comparison, the small buildings on the map will be cities around the same size as Cerulean, which isn't bad at all.
Yeah, but for some Alzheimer's-induced reason I ALWAYS forget to buy repels when I'm in town. I like the idea for a hold item though, it'd save $$$ on repels and the like.
You should be able to feed your Pokemon some spicy berries which repel wild Pokemon. Enough with the man-made stuff, go all natural.

shorts are a movement thing, not a pocket thing; comfort is completely dependent on personal preference, and would depend on the girl when it comes to what they would rather wear. regardless of that; a dress, by design, is impractical for climbing mountains/manoeuvring through caves/doing all the things you would assume a Pokemon Trainer would do. you don't see many girls go camping wearing skirts, nor wear them while doing any sort of outdoor work. if it's hot, they will wear shorts, because they are more functional for that kind of movement. skirts are also much more revealing (since you can, you know, actually see their underwear at almost any given time with nothing but a slight head tilt), so these anime "interests" would apply more to the people who prefer the skirts.

I personally like the new region. I looks big, and rather barren, but the overall positioning of everything seems interesting. I'm looking forward to how the lack of visible cities/towns plays out, and I'm excited for the Pokemon we'll find in the desert.
also, Intimidate repels wild battles, which several early game Pokemon have as an ability. I'm sure a few other abilities repel them too, but I forget which ones (stench?)
EDIT: Zorua isn't legendary, so I see no reason why it would be event only. it might just be a special even Pokemon with unique moves.

Yeah, they're comfy, and I also heard they are easy to wear. You think that's true?
Personally, I like the stylization on them. The little wings. It looks nice to me. Araragi is awful bland, though. I guess Pokemon Profs. are always pretty bland but she looks even more so... then again, they are not that important anyway.

If anyone remembers, Misty had just as short, short shorts. Only difference is the newer trainer has a lower rise and some (I'm guessing, but it looks quite weird) distressing going on. Misty's shirt is even short enough to see her stomach.
I'd like to think the creator had somewhat an idea of what's popular today as (can't speak for the female trainer but) up until now all the male trainers had quite baggy pants. Now the black and white male trainer has quite a slim fitting pair pants haha.
Though does anyone find it weird that the male trainer's messenger bag is so high up? Even in western styles its worn lower and I know a lot of asians like to wear theirs even lower...to the point it bugs me lol.
Black's bag height isn't that strange. O_o Looking at the official art, Black's messenger bag seems to be at the height I've seen many people wear their bags. If anything, it just seems strange that it's right under his arm, but at the same time, considering how small his bag is, it seems perfectly fine for it to be in that general area.
White's shorts are quite... Strange. They're short-shorts, sure, but the wing designs on the end literally seem like a parody of torn jeans girls often wear. If it is a joke on that, then GF's quite stealthy with their visual puns. Really, White appears as if she's traveling in the summer time, considering while Black has a sweater, White's wearing a sleeve-less black jacket, and actually shows the amount of skin. Her hair isn't that weird in my opinion, it looks fine, considering the other hair styles used within the series (Here's looking at you girls, Gardenia, Fantina, and Greta)

Ehh I really hope that they actually umm like the boy/girl look display varies(ofcourse theyre opposite genders) that they give us a vary look in the versions , I mean the current set on the boy/girl is white so that could be given to pokemon white , while they could change the colors to black for pokemon black , highly unlikely but could be awesome.

My bags go under my arms kind of like that. But maybe it's over accentuated because they wanted to show the design of the bag.
I like the designs better than the previous generation. But I always feel that the male looks better than the female in every generation. And what's with all the hair that sticks out of her cap? =.='
EDIT: I would of liked them both drawn without hats. Long hair and caps doesn't look very nice in my opinion.
