Hey, does anyone know what Venusaur's LEAST used set is right now? I've always wanted to build a set around it in UU, but I want it to be surprising... any ideas?

I was wondering how Shellos works in HGSS. Is it Pink Form in Johto and Blue Form in Kanto? Or not?
As far as I've read, when breeding Shelloses the kind of Shellos it is is determined by the mother/non-Ditto. And since there's no wild ones in HG/SS, breeding's the only way to get them there.

Has anyone confirmed if the Roamers respawn if you capture them, release them, and beat the E4? I wanted to start RNG abuse. I'd test it myself but the game saves after beating the E4 which is pretty risky.
I vote you don't do it. I'd wager it'd be a huge mistake.

You can't check a Pokemon's EV's can you?
As another option, if you already know its IV's, you can punch them into an IV checker and have it determine its EVs.

If you had to describe pokemon to someone in one or two sentences how would you do it?

this person had no idea what pokemon is.
If it's for a paper explaining what you were doing when you got into an accident in a car, I would actually advise you to say you were just playing a handheld video game. If the paper's about a car accident, people are not going to be interested in the game you were playing; they want to know what went down with the car, where were you, how fast were you going, who was at fault, were you injured, etc.

Is Self Destruct an egg move for Snorlax?
I got the new munchlax, but I want to breed for better IVs.
Nope. Known through unique methods only.

Is there any special way to breed for Abilities though?

No; Abilities are random.
...which means RNG to the rescue. But otherwise, yeah: no way to breed for abilities.

3th time i ask since no one gave a answer on it:
psycho shift:
Psycho Shift transfers any status ailment from the user to the target
Then my question on this, when i use perish song, does this gets transferred to?
And (although i'm very certain its not because it has nothing to do with status ailments) does future sight gets transferred?

I do have readed already that synchronize just passes u normal status ailments back.

Thanks those who know and shares the answer in advance.

Perish Song is not a status ailment, neither is Future Sight.

A status ailment is when your Pokemon has that 3 letter symbol next to it.

A power item doubles whatever EV a pokemon gives right?
So if I fight a goldeen (who gives +1 EV) and I'm holding a power item. My pokemon will get +2 in Atk right?

And then for every +4 EVs I get I get an additional +1 EV? Or do I have to level up to get that +1 EV?
So if it takes 8 Goldeen to make my pokemon level up I get +2?

EV training is confusing >.<

Alright, thanks!

Another random question... If a Pokemon has Cute Charm, Poison Point, or other contact abilities, will it work past a substitute?

For example: If a Poison Point Roserade used Substitute and the opposing Pokemon uses some sort of physical move, would the opposing Pokemon still have that 30% chance of being poisoned? Or does the Substitute make the physical attack NOT a contact move?

Also, I was wondering if the opposite happens. Let's say the opposing Pokemon used Substitute and attacks a Poison Point Pokemon, will the opposing Pokemon still have the chance of being poisoned?

I hope I made sense.

Thank you, iAmSmuuuurf.

Stealth Rock hurts EVERY time a enemy Pokemon enter the field?
Even if its with Roar, U-Turn, and that kind of moves?

Yes as long as the pokemon enters the field(whatever move or switch)it is damaged by SR if its on.

No, a Power item adds +4 EVs to whatever the Pokemon gives. So killing a Goldeen with a Power Bracer gives you 5 EVs.

The Macho Brace is the item that doubles all EVs gained.

And the +1 stat is for every 4 EVs, but it's hard to gauge until you're level 100. At level 100, your stat will be one point higher for every 4 EVs you've gained than if you had no EVs at all.

An exception would be Magic Guard. Pokemon with this ability will not take damage from SR.

Are there other exceptions?

How do you sign up for the Smogon Frontier? Do I just post the needed information into the thread and then start battling Brains, or do I have to wait for something to happen or what? I'm confused...

Also, to the question in the previous post, every pokemon without magic guard is affected by SR. No other exceptions.

I have two questions :
Can someone explain me why there are some invalid combinations of IV and natures? How does that make sense??

Also, a bit random, on the forum, everytime you quote someone, the person is said to be fat???

That's just the way it was programmed, maybe to check for hacks easier. And yes, I guess chaos just felt like making everybody fat.

im making a defensive duo for UU
should i use:
tangrowth and grumpig (tangrowth as physical wall, maybe with SD, grumpig as special wall with Calm Mind and thick fat)
tangrowth and hypno (same stuff for both of them, only i lose thick fat and gain wish)
Weezing and Skuntank (weezing as physical wall, skuntank to trap psychics)

I would try Weezing and Skuntank out of those sets, but Grumpig might be worth a shot

Is there any way I can figure out my PID in HG/SS without catching a shiny?

Without a hacking device, no
