I don't really see what wrong with the grass starters evolution. I think it looks cool.

And also in the Anime department, no one has said that Brock is not going to appear in the new series.
 
it said he was being replaced. that is about the same as saying he wont show up besides freaking cameos or special episodes.


brock was my favorite character that is not a hacker(say whatever you want but i think ash is cool) and now they are going to replace him? for god sake wtf?

i hope those betas dont become final.
 
I just find it funny how people are getting angry and jumping on GF for designs when they haven't changed since Gen 1 ! The stage 1 starter evos have always been grown up versions of the basic form with little difference. Stop moaning until everything is released!
 
SadOtter's evo is cool, but as long as we're only talking first stave evo's then SmugLeaf's is acceptable.

I never got into the anime much but I did like Brock. Serebii is saying there's a new dude character to replace Brock if I recall correctly. Has Brock been with Ash since the anime began?
 
the only time brock was not with ash was on those weird islands made as fillers at best. besides that brock and ash were always traveling together, just ash and brock

breeding together.

gotta stop reading the super effective comics....

anyway, ash and brocks are just like brothers so replacing any of those 2 kill part of what is left from the anime.

back to games, jaxx that is the same as saying we cant be haters what everyone is once in a while.

Although on the anime side of things on paper without Brock it doesn't sound like a boring and uncool series but lets not judge just yet.

Yeah, you got a point about the Anime. Brock and Ash are my to faverite characters in it. I just don't really know how the show would go without one of the two. Although I'm going to wait and see.

I think people should wait until more pokemon are revealed before passing judgement on the Generation as a whole. I remember seeing some of the pokemon in Diamond and Pearl, and wondering what kind of stuff the designers were on when coming up with them. But eventually I actually liked more of the designs.
 
they have to learn with past mistakes. generation 1 was boring and evolutions were most just bigger versions of they first forms(bulba is a perfect example).

at least they look cool, i dont know if that smugleaf evo is fake or not but its a perfect example of the path they should NOT take. if they want to make him look just like a bigger version of himself then dont make him a fucking duck.

really though, i said i am only going to form my final opinion when i play and finish the entire game.

I just hope people did not react like that when seeing Bulbasaur -> Ivysaur, Charmander -> Charmeleon, Piplup -> Prinplup, Chimchar -> Monferno, etcetera. I agree that there is something REALLY wrong with this evo's eyes but damnit, haven't you notice Tsutarja looks different in that picture? It's a (really) marginal difference, but is still there.


Besides, have you seen any of the 4th Gen middle form starters? They're not the best thing out there, yet they evolved into awesomesauce pokémon. C'mon guys.

All this is true. 1st evo's don't even matter, you really only have them from badges 2-5 maybe (depending on the game).

I lol'd at awesomesauce, I've never heard that before but is truly epic.

almost none of the stage 2 starters were incredible (except grovyle). but THAT tsutaja evo is. an. abomination.

first time I actually ranted about pokemon design.
 
i never liked warturtle or grotle but they are not horrible by any means. on this case its really a case of personal preference.

but when a design is shit it really doesnt matter if you like or not, in the end its a shit design.


so when is zoroark movie coming out? i want to hear ice cream syndrome and see how the fuck zoroark can create that giant dark wave that appear to match the power of Lucario kameha-i mean aura storm.

That's because you didn't have the chance to see me ranting about Grotle back then ~__~

But as I said, Tsutarja's eyes look a *bit* different. I don't believe these are the final artworks for them. Besides, I cannot even read "Tsutarja" below the pokémon, it looks like "Tsuidou". It could be "Tsutaja" too (fucking low resolution), but that isn't its official name, while Pokabu has its official name already on the sketch...
 
I love the new pokemon revealed...but I don't want Wotter to become Water/Fighting.

Anything but that honestly, I just don't like the fighting type in starters. Im getting kinda sick of it now.

But Grotle was okay 0.o

I guess if that black scruffy haired abomination is smugleaf 2.0, smugleaf 3.0 better be badass or I'm doing a non-evolving run. Nuzlocke style.
