Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

After Friday, I'll be without a computer for a couple of weeks (maybe even the rest of the month) and I'll be communicating through my Wii. I want to know if there is something close to a Web based RNG Reporter.

Seriously, I've been feeling like I'm invisible all day lol.

on the shiny egg tab, when you're using it for HGSS, do you call elm 10 times and then advance the number of frames it says, or is the frame it gives you excluding elm calls?
i know that on DPP, the flips and taps are after checking your seed, but is it the same for HGSS?
new page

@JRT, no there isn't. your best bet is asking someone else to go on RNG for you or find a PC emulator for WII or something.
@KingOldBoy, after you catch a pokemon, your frame jumps to the actual frame listed there. so if a spread is frame 50 and actual frame 112, after battling that pokemon, you'll jump to frame 112. but the battle itself also adds 6 frames so you'll actually be on frame 118.

I'm not sure if this will work, but Emloop can be used instead of PikaTimer and you can try writing down the spreads you are going to use, I personally am not sure that Emloop will work on the Wii though so don't take my word for it.

i just want to know...has anyone tried to rng for shiny birds in platinum? im thinking you cant since all three are released? but just wanna know if anyone tried, in case it is actually possible.

If you're RNGing for IVs, you still don't need the everstone or any other stone. Get it off your pokes and rely on the seed you choose with RNG Reporter or Wichu's program. The seed itself and landing on the right delay and frame are what you need to get the right IVs, not the stone.
*Sigh* I know that. The stone is for the nature because when I am RNGing to hatch a pokemon the nature is not included in the seed... This is why I need to do the Everstone. So that I can get the Jolly nature without hitting two delays... If there is a way to get the nature Shinyness and Ability in HG without hitting two delays I would love to know... The everstone is for my Nature while the RNG is for my IV's I don't think that the Everstone is helping my RNG but it isn't doing anything wrong to it either is it?

The everstone won't do anything wrong, when your egg is held by the old man and has the correct nature/ability etc, then you can rng for egg iv's

Lol wut???

I am just RNGing for IV's not nature... I want Jolly however so I have a Everstone equiped hoping for a Jolly nature... I know in Diamond I could do the steps to get a Shiny Jolly Ability 1 Gligar and then RNG for IV's but You would have to hit two delays in HG... So I either need to know that If I hit my delay if I will always get the same nature or if there is a way to RNG for SHINY Ability ect. without hitting another delay.

If you want to RNG for nature/shinyness/ability you HAVE TO "hit a delay", there is no other way, however if you want jolly nature and have put the everstone on your mother with a jolly nature, then wait for an egg, save infront of it, and check if it's jolly.

If it is not, then just repeat the process until one egg is jolly...
If it is, then you can reset and "hit your delay" to RNG for IV's, the egg will always be jolly.

*Sigh* Thats a good point... I fail... I wish they had a program for easy Shinyness RNG like they did for DPPt. Thank you very much for clarifying. I really should have thought of that myself...

I need some help here, I'm using a pearl, I'm in front of Mesprit, no roamers, generated my seed with method 1, my frame is 14, this means I have to advance 13 frames.
I verify my seed with the coinflip - I'm in the right seed. I change to the step counter, walk 128 steps with 5 pokemon = 5 frames done, 8 to go. This means 4 journal flips that i do one by one, from a page without a caught to a page with a caught pokemon = 2 frames, and back to the page without a caught pokemon = 0 frames (?).

This is the third time I'm off by +4 frames! I don't know why!

EDIT 1: Oh, I start with the step counter open and them change to the coinflip - is that it?
EDIT 2: The date I chose is my birthday, which I entered in the DS.

Yes. RNG abuse one, catch it. Then kill off the other 2. Defeat the E4 and you'll be able to talk to Oak again and he will re-release the ones you haven't caught.

@Dea: Is the starting frame of Mesprit 1 or something else? If you're constanly hitting the wrong frame (like exactly 4 up), then do that many less advances. I don't see what can be causing this besides starting frame.

Imapedarsag, this is exactly what I've been doing:
I found the spread I want, frame 18401 at 5:06.68. It should be Bold, 30/13/29/26/26/19 (stats, 126-45-105-95-175-52).
I soft reset when my computer clock gets to a new minute, and then click on Regice when the seconds hand gets to 6 seconds after 5 minutes have passed. Regice's cry and animation thing take around 3-4 seconds, so I start at frame 18401 and scroll down in the Excel sheet, trying to find what spread I actually ended up with (after plugging the spread into an IV calculator). The spread should show up somewhere, but it simply doesn't. I just scrolled through 5:06 to 5:14 and couldn't find the spread I got: Quiet 30-31 / 0-2 / 18-19 / 3-4 / 13-14 / 8-9 (stats, 126-45-92-94-170-43)

Edit: I just tried pressing A on Regice at around 5:02 to account for the cry and animation, and plugged the stats into an IV calculator. I actually managed to find that spread on the excel sheet, and it was actually at about 5:02.38. Apparently the RNG stops once you press A, not when the screen goes black before the actual battle...

I'm just going to keep on click around 5:06.68 now and hope I get lucky eventually.

How many times would any of you reccomend repeating the Calibration process (Catching Lv.50 pokemon, entering stats, etc.)?

Ok, thanks ^_^ I'll try 10.

Also, how fast do you have to catch the pokemon? Would two turns be acceptable?

Example: I send out ______ angainst a Lv. 50+ wild _______. I use ________ and the pokemon's health is down to red zone. I throw pokeball and capture _______.

Is that ok, or do I have to catch it on the first turn?
