It can never evolve? Oh noes!
I did it!!! finally after about 2 weeks of off and on playing my scramble challenge is complete :P
-beat victory road
-challenged the Elite four a couple of times to get a feel for them, grinded quite alot here
And for the team challenging the E4:
lvl 45 Carmine (Crawdaunt)
lvl 47 Flambe (Ninetails)
lvl 49 Chargey (Raichu)
lvl 50 Taneboh (Shiftry)
lvl 51 Felix (Blaziken)
lvl 55 Lolpad (Ludicolo)
VS: Sydney.
led with Carmine, hypercutter negated the attack loss. brick breaked for a clean OHKO. Cacturne was burned up by Flambe, as well as the shifty that followed. Absol was killed by Felix, and Crawdaunt was OHKOed by thunderbolt from chargey. piece of cake.
VS: Phoebe
Led with taneboh. used bide for the requirement as dusclops used protect twice in a row (pressure stalling?) i used two X specials on Taneboh as Dusclops used Shadowball and protect again. Faint attack OHKOed it, the dusclops that followed, both bannettes and sabelye. shiftry ftw :P
VS: Glacia
Led with Chargey this time, and out came Sealeo. used focus punch as Sealeo set up hail, and OHKOed it. Glalie came in and Felix OHKOed it with a crit fire punch. next came the fat beast known as Walrein, and Chargey took on the foe again. using a thunderbolt to get Walrein well into the yellow, the seal used SHEER COLD OMFG.........and missed ;D gotta love that accuracy. thunderbolted again for a 2HKO. the second Sealeo came back out to set up hail again, and focus punch killed it too. Flambe was sent out against the last Glalie, and surprisingly had to 2HKO with flamethrower.
VS: Drake
LOLPADDDDDD. i cant tell you how much i love you. ice beam ice beam ice beam ice beam was the game plan, and OHKOed shelgon, altaria, flygon, and Mence. Kingdra was a much different story. after spamming thunderbolts and getting KOed by a surf, Flambe came in and will-o-wisped and confuserayed until we were eating grilled Seahorse :P
VS: Wallace
again started with Lolpad which started in the red zone. after a fake out and a lucky crit giga drain on waillord, Lolpad was sitting at full health and a dead whale. Tentacruel somehow survived two thunderbolts and remaining in the yellow so HYPER BEAM (yes, hyperbeam) raped it's face. Whiscash didnt stand a chance against a STAB gigadrain from lolpad. Milotic came in and became a 3HKO through gigadrains as well. then came our favorite psuedo-dragon gyarados, and was given the chair by Chargey. and lastly, came evasion-haxing Ludicolo. but with spammage of Arial aces by Taneboh even he couldnt stop me from claiming my crown :P
And now i'm sitting in my house wondering what the hell am i gonna do next!

oh my duck billed pineapple plant thing, how do i love thee. you are a walking contradiction (the "carefree" pokemon with a serious nature ^_^) Accompanying me from the low level of 3 as a lotad, Lolpad rose through the team as being one of the best and strongest members as well as being the only female. Without Lolpad the early game would have been alot more like hell (rock and fire gyms i'm looking at you).
Accomplishments on the team:
-soloing the first gym
-beating Team Aqua early on as my only counter to water types.
-soloing Team Magma on top of Mt. Chimney
-*almost* soloing the fourth gym
-extreme fake out abuse against Slaking
-being my only surfer (Carmine got dive and Waterfall)
-defeating most of the aqua grunts at the weather institute by herself.
-defeating Altaria at the 6th gym
-beating down the Magma grunts inside their cave
-defeating both Claydol and Solrock in the 7th gym
-Defeating Drake and helping alot at Wallace

I'm restarting my Platinum and Heart Gold... I'll let you guys pick my five of pokemon, but I'm picking the first one... It's up to you to pick a theme and the remaining five...

In Platinum: bring a Roserade named Vogue. It can evolve to Roselia when you wish but it may not evolve into Roserade until it solos a Gym Leader OTHER THAN Crasher Wake.
In Heart Gold: if you are using a legitimate copy bring an Elekid named Pirate (from the Pokewalker). It must evolve before you defeat Team Rocket for the final time.
If you are on a emulator let me know, I have another idea but I like this one better.
In Platinum: bring a Roserade named Vogue. It can evolve to Roselia when you wish but it may not evolve into Roserade until it solos a Gym Leader OTHER THAN Crasher Wake.

Okay--got my Roselia... I'm using a legit copy of Heart Gold!!! Anything else? Haha, I just realized Azumarill, Forretress, and Steelix are all "gold" when shiny.

Platinum: get an espeon or umbreon (your choice). eevee must learn baton pass before evolving into either one of them. once evolved, espeon/umbreon must learn and keep last resort.
HeartGold: get a dunsparce, you must have one by the time you face morty. (according to the dark cave map there are two rocksmash rocks that you can use after getting the HM, by going through the violet city entrance. rocksmashing has a 90% chance the pokemon is dunsparce or you could try your luck with the 1% walking chance.)
also, i want to start another challenge :P

Rules: no FEEBAS, chain breeding, or honey tree madness. if possible please dont make the team monotype

1: Adamant Chimchar, can't evolve until it learns nastyplot. can never learn a special move (must delete ember asap)
2: Shinx named Paradox808 with Rivalry, can't learn any physical electric attacks.
3: Get a buizel, trade it for chatot in eterna, must always know chatter and hyper voice
4: Wooper named Oompah. can't evolve until it learns yawn and ice beam

Paradox, get a Shinx and it must know Rivalry (spelling?) and name Paradox808, it cannot know any Electric Physical Attacks, if it knows any get rid of it asap.

I am giving Paradox the Chatot anyway. It must always know both Chatter and Hyper Voice upon learning them.

I thought there was a guy blocking you from going farther until you get Morty, but im not too sure...

Lovrina, get a Machop (for platinum), name it ThePrince and it has to be male, it must evolve to Machoke once you beat the seventh gym (do not need to solo) and must evolve to Machamp once you get past the Victory Road.

I thought pokemon from the Pokewalker were always caught in pokeballs. how do you catch them in dive balls?
anyone? i kinda want to start before the fourth (car rides galore >_>)
