Pokemon Sunday did reveal a new pokemon during a preview for the zoroark movie. The villian is surrounded by a new bug-type on two different occasions. It has a dark body with gengar-like smile and eyes, and standard bug wings.

GOD DAMN Cloyster is a gigantic BAMF.

The descriptions for the new Pokemon shown in the movie preview are pretty vague, though.

i watched the stuff on filb.de and didn't see anything of a new pokemon
(there were ninjask swarming around the main villain at several occasions though)

That yellow feline Pokemon with the thundercloud on its back and the saber-like teeth looks new too.

In a preview for the 14th movie (at the end of the 13th) Reshiram and Zekrom were shown as well as another new Pokemon with pointy ears and big eyes. No pics yet, so it might not be true.

So many Pokemon revealed in such a short span of time lol

On a series note, I hope if this is confirmed the after mentioned Pokemon wouldn't be 'weak'.

Do you guys think Gear will get a evolution, because I really think it need to have a giant steampunck machine for a final evo.

Of the Pokemon revealed in Coro Coro last month, Gear has the lowest chance of evolving. But, maybe, they'll realize what bloody useless ability Plus and Minus are, and give it an evolution. Still, don't expect it to be useful outside of Double and Triple Battles, and not really even then as prevalent as Earthquake is.

Unless Gear gets a move that makes your entire team levitate.

What in the world would be the point of giving it Plus or Minus in its prevolution before evolving into something that DOESN'T have Plus or Minus? It would be interesting to get another Porygon2 like Pokemon that's just as usable as its evolution but I doubt that will end up being the case.

LOL at the whole posting pokemon discussion. Slight fail there but no biggie.

Gear will probably get an evolution. I wouldn't be surprised if two Gears combined (one has Plus, one has Minus) to evolve or something...otherwise, it'd be the same crappy ending as Plusle and Minun.

Plusle and Minun were created solely to showcase double battles. They might do it with Gear for triple battles, or it just might be a regular poke with their abilities.
Can we expect quadruple battles in Gen VII? =P

4 on 4 battles? 6 on 6 battles? lol that would be stupid and insaine.

*side note...I just took out someones first 3 pokemon with a mamoswine lead O.o*

I really like the "Gear evolves if you have a minus and plus Gear in your party" thing. More unique evolution methods ftw.

Good point. And I could definitely see Gear doing something like that for triple battles...the only problem I see is that there's only two abilities. Hmm that could turn out really cool, actually!

Joking aside (quadruple battles... lol), I agree with you. Plusle and Minun were the Double Battle flagship Pokemon, and having Gear with Plus and Minus, but no third ability, is making me wonder if there will be a new ability "Neutral" or somesuch that receives a boost if both Plus and Minus are on your side of the field...

Personally though, I don't want to see any more doubles/triples only abilities. I think triple battles will be even more absurdly unbalanced than doubles so I most likely won't care.

I would love to see new evolution methods too, and reuse old methods like Shedinja, the elemental Stones, and just plain TRADING with no item required - I've had enough of hold items that do nothing other than help a solitary Poke evolve.

The method I'd most like to see again is the Hitmon split evolutionary path, based on EVs/IVs; I'd really like to see that implemented with a weak Pokemon with all base 50 stats who evolves either into a Special or Physical attacking behemoth depending on how it's been trained!

EDIT: @PKMN Trainer Manson: So, what is it, a disembodied cat head or something?

May as well be. Blogger is probably just a bad artist, though. He also forgot what the body looked like, but with just the head it looks a helluva lot like Jigglypuff, which I thought was hilarious since someone posted a picture of Jigglypuff earlier jokingly because it looked like the very vague description we have ("pointy ears and big eyes").

Apparently, some Japanese blogger somewhere is calling it "Nezumimi" but that's probably just a nickname. A portmanteau of "mouse/rat" and "ear" (think "Gizamimi Pichu"-- the Spiky-Eared Pichu.) Honestly, the drawing above doesn't look like it has mouse/rat ears at all. The whole situation is too confusing.
