Charge Beam has 50 BP D:

I could have sworn it had 70. Oh well, Speed isn't as good of a boost as SpAtk (compare the amount of Pokemon that get Agility to the amount of Pokemon that get Nasty Plot) so it could easily have 70 Base Power with the same chance of boosting speed or have a slightly lower chance of boosting it.

I don't believe Nitro Charge is Fire Priority because I think I read somewhere that Minezumi is using You First on Pokabu to have him go first. If it was priority that wouldn't be necessary. I do hope it boasts speed, though, so he could be a pretty good Tank (assuming he already has the bulk).

Edit: Is N talking in that video on Filb (40 secs)? I can't tell if that low speaking is him or someone in the background.

Why isn't everyone discussing the Sky rumors?

Seriously, Dragon/Poison, FUND IT.

It had some cool stuff on it. Poison/Dragon being one, but Ice/Fighting was another one that caught my attention. I'm curious how these would look. I can't remember the rest but I think there was one other one that caught my attention.

If they reuse the scyther HG/SS sprite I'll cry

the sprites move. it's impossible to reuse sprites, even if they were used as a base for the animated one. they are guaranteed to be different regardless.

I did the math, and with the 493 Pokemon, and assuming Zekrom is last in the pre-National Dex, there would be 143… so only 7 pokemon from previous generations show up in the Isshu Dex?! Or there could be some possible number jumbling, but it does look that there is a chance that *according to this rumor* Isshu will contain ALL NEW POKEMON.

I'M LISTENING

Next pokemon are unlisted in the ‘dex (similar to Rhyperior, Porygon-Z, etc in D/P) but are not previous generation pokemon. COULD be evolutions of older pokemon, pre-evos, OR legendaries… or just regular pokemon I suppose?

now, what's this all about then?

Ground/Bug (Pokemon #639)

... so, it's unlisted in the dex, but is not a previous gen Pokemon. it COULD be an evo. it's Bug/Ground.

Pinsir evo plox.

also, Normal/Ghost.

So....Turbo Blaze raises Reshi's Sp.Atk when Fire type moves are used and......TeraVoltage raises Zekrom's Atk when Electric type moves are used? Ew. Turbo Blaze sounds pretty meh, but then again, it's just a rumor.

Also, Dark/Psychic and Normal/Ghost FTW!

Really interested by Nitro Charge. Hopefully it will be something useful.

Anyway, as long as they don't give Swellow Thunder Armour or something stupid like that from the Animé (like Counter Shield), I'm happy.

Pre-Flareon mourning, of course.

Turbo Blaze sounds amazing. If Reshiram is bulky enough, he can set up a Substitute and get free Special Attack boosts by just attacking with Flamethrower / Fire Blast. Then he can run Dragon Pulse for the dual STAB (and unresisted coverage, barring Heatran), with Roost or a filler attack in the last slot. Unless I'm mistaking something and it's when Fire or Electric attacks are used against them. Then TeroVoltage is really good, giving immunity to Thunder Wave.

since the pikachu line is pretty much guaranteed to be in the new dex (since ash is still the apparent main character of the anime), only 4 other pokemon could be returning? :O.

Magikarp, Gyarados, Goldeen, Seaking, Pikachu, Raichu, Machop, Machoke, Machamp, Geodude, Graveller, Golem, Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam, and probably others have been in the regional dex since RBY and I doubt that will change this gen.

Ok, first of all, the best rumor on that page is undoubtably the Ground/Bug rumor - because that's our ticket to a Pinsir evo! Secondly, Dragon/Poison is a great new typing and I hope that one is true as well.

However, Ghost/Normal? Give me a break - that is an unrealistic typing and I'm guessing it's false - the definition of "Ghost" Iis something unnatural and NOT normal! And if Nitro Boost does turn out to be Pokabu's signature move and raise speed, that sounds fine as long as the chance for the speed boost is relatively low. Still, I was hoping Pokabu would be relatively fast naturally - bulky Fire types just don't work.

And only 7 old Pokemon are returning in the Isshu dex? That sounds too low to me...

UPD: I neglected to point this out, but a special attack called “Gouka” (lit: Hellfire) that has a base damage of 100 and 80% accuracy and may cause burn (sp atk). Also a move called “Uzarai” which also has a base of 100 damage with 80% accuracy and may cause paralysis (phy atk).

Looks like there's our legends' Signature Attacks. I REALLY hope they keep the name Hellfire for Zekrom, SO BADASS.

Dragon/Poison is interesting. Not too useful offensively speaking, but it gains resistances to Fighting, Bug, an added Grass resist, and immunity to Poison (meaning Toxic/Toxic Spikes aren't bothering it). Add those to Water, fire, and Electric resistances and you have quite a few options to switch in, while Ice and Ground are the only 2 truly exploitable weaknesses.

And while everyone is all hyped up for that Bug/Ground pokemon, I'm more excited for an Ice/Fighting type. A Snow Monkey would be a cool basis for it (if not overdoing the whole monkey-fighting-type concept), and should lead to acceptable speed and attack for such a pokemon. Both are great offensive types and don't overlap at all, which is also cool.

Oh god no way in hell, we need a good physical Electric move to be widely distributed.

And lol Hellfire has such a badass name but is a pathetic move otherwise. It's worse than Heat Wave, for heaven's sake! Unless, of course, it has 50% burn rate...

PS.: That Poison/Dragon totally is a seven-headed Arbok evo called Atnana. I'm a genius, and you may thank me later.

Uh, don't you think "Hellfire" would be a... Fire attack for Reshiram? Not Zekrom? Although it does have an epic name.

Well, it's Stone Edge: 100BP and 80 ACC. It uses SpA, and I'm agreeing that it'll probably have a huge burn rate like Sacred Fire - hopefully even higher to make up for that rotten accuracy.

And according to the rumor, Zekrom's signature move will be "Uzarai", and physical Electric move with the same power and accuracy as Hellfire, just with a Paralysis chance instead of burn. Sounds nice, simply because it's a powerful PHYSICAL electric move.

By the way, I'm guessing the rumor that "Tera Voltage increases its Atk when fire type moves are used" is simply an error and should be about Electric moves - derp.

Hope so because I'm seriously thinking they created those moves with the sole purpose of trolling us via giving them Stone Edge syndrome.

Like I've been saying for months, a Normal/Ghost Pokemon can work just fine by having a pure normal cat evolve into a bakeneko.

Agreed, I listed a lot more Pokemon than that that have always been in the dex and 7 would only leave Magikarp, Gyarados, Goldeen, Seaking, Pichu, Pikachu, and Raichu.

So I don't think these rumors are true (or atleast not all of them) because of the extremely low number of old Pokemon. 150 isn't enough Pokemon for a regional dex, anyway.
