I don't clearly remember what he said so I won't expand much on it, but it was more or less in the lines of those games being "nostalgic" to the older players, with elements that would make it as a "new beginning". You may already notice it on the routes being reset, Isshu being a "distant region", and the simplistic design of a few pokémon (like the Deer, lol, it's Seel all over again).

It would be funny though if it had an ability that made Tackle like 120 Base attack. I mean what other moves would make sense for it? Headbutt/Zen Headbutt/Skull Bash?

Ah, dude, don't say that; Now it will have, like, 60 Base stats in everything and learn at most three good moves.

I hate raining on parades, but you do know that football player was a trainer, right?
 
Oh and for something HILARIOUS, they should give the smallest, weakest-looking Pokemon HUMONGOUS stats and make the enemies cry! Like this:

-Go, Chillarmy!
-Chillarmy used Tackle!
-Arceus fainted!
-Chillarmy gained 13933 exp. points!

Now imagine it with four Season Formes (Grass -> Spring, Grass/Ghost -> Autumn, Grass/Ice -> Winter, Grass/Fire -> Summer), with something like 70/80/70/105/115/80=520 BST (same BST of the Eeveelutions).

Could work.

Gochiruzeru is the Gothic Lolita Pokemon right? Or is it Rankurusu? Anyways, I'm talking about the one that looks like its trainer could be Lady Gaga.

That pokemon is my favorite Pokemon of this generation. I wonder who even came up with the concept to make a fashion trend, into a pokemon. Brilliant. Just wish she was Psychic/Dark.
