Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

Okay. I am still a little confuse on RNGing.

I am trying to get a flawless and/or shiny, Raikou, Suicune, Entei, Latios, and Event Latias. This is not really for battle, but for starting purposes.

I figured since my game got corrupt,(Still don't know how as the game just somehow resetted, even though I saw my character in the game before I closed the DS) that I would try and learn how to RNG.

Anywho, I watched a little of the video but it still seem confusing. So is there any other tutorial, for beginners that could teach me?

Btw, I have SS.

I hit the delay for my shiny egg seed and the frame is 1. Is the only thing I have to do now to put the parents into the daycare and wait till they have an egg?

Thanks alot.

And I already beat the whole Johto region and I am in Pewter city(Funny it only took a couple of hours, though I forgot how to use the flute again xD).

Anywho, thanks a lot. :)

Do I have to start over, again, in order to RNG, or am I fine?

All right, thanks COKTAL. I just want a shiny Drifloon, I don't care about the IVs or nature, so I want to make it on Frame 1 (its starting frame) because it's the easiest way for me to do it. Is there a way to find every possible seed that will yield a shiny Frame 1 Drifloon?

Any way to do this?

You know if there's a visual representation somewhere on how to do it? Or you RNG abuse the jirachi exactly like if you were to rng abuse an egg for perfect ivs?

It's the same process for hitting the seed and advancing the frames, but just keep in mind:

-the nature is random, so whatever IV spread you find in the RNG reporter for that specific seed and frame, ignore the nature
-use method 1 to find the spread you want. Once you find the frame which it's on, add 2 frames to get your target frame

For example, I just got my two Jirachis I wanted, a timid and jolly one

I used this seed: 52140289

In RNGreporter it says the 31/31/31/31/31/31 spread is on 114, but I really wanted to hit 116. Also it says Modest, but I got Timid and Jolly from this seed/frame.

I was reading the HGSS Roamers Post-Elite Four guide, and I was confused what they meant by:

“When the roamers are regenerated post-E4, their stats are created via Method 1 on the following frames: Entei: frame 1, raikou: frame 6, lati@s: frame 11”

I already freed all 3 roamers, KO’d latias, saved before lance, and hit my seed (seed d2140289, desired frame 114). If I wanted to get a timid Latias, I have to advance the frame by calling the radio 100 times since Latias respawns with stats on frame 11? (114 – 3(roamers) – 11 = 100)

No, you won't subtract 3 for the roamers because Latias isn't out roaming any more. You KOed it, so until you beat the Elite 4 it is "dead" so to speak. So your roamers are only 2.

Also, iirc the starting frames for those assume you are re-releasing all of them, not just one. Since neither Raikou nor Entei will be regenerated, it's starting frame should be 1 (someone correct me about this if I'm wrong please). So really, your formula should be 114 - 2 (Roamers) - 1 (Starting Frame) = 111.

Quick question for HGSS RNG. If I have both Raikou and Entei roaming (I haven't even encountered them yet whatsoever) what's my starting frame when I load the game? I've beaten the E4 once and have gotten to Kanto, shown Elm the egg, confirmed PKRS, and the like.

They advance it randomly from either one frame or two frame I think. The best thing to do is before catching what it is you're catching, note their location and input it into seed to time. It'll tell you how many frames are advanced by them.

What about if I'm breeding poke's and not catching? o-o Same routine?

Ok, so basically, if I am on frame 114 when I talk to Lance, then the Latias will respawn with stats from frame 114?

I see. Though, how do you find your save frame (so you can advance your frame) since you're not hatching eggs?
