Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

Okay, I'm looking for this spread in DPPt timefinder.
HP electric/grass 70, with 5 or less Spe (for TR).
I need a frame of 6 or higher.
Average delay is 602. (I can use Pikatimer but the lower the delay the better.)
I don't care about the date.

@Despotar: Here's one I found that you may like:
(31/31/30/30/31/3) HP Grass 70! Comes in Brave and Sassy (both negative speed natures). Here's brave's seed: a5170899. And Sassy's: 25170899. I didn't check the delays though.

i got the reporter running!!
i now need to learn about delays

i am aiming for this seed for a shiny suicune in HG

method 1
7610043C

frame 27457
time 7:37:56
date 4/8/2010
elm E
PiD 8D09D392
r:37
e:42

how do i edit the delay and is it automatically set to 0?

Your frame is so huge, I can't even get RNG Reporter to look at it. It crashes within seconds. Why don't you tell us what the IV spread and nature are for this pokemon? Perhaps a different seed for it exists with a smaller frame.

I want to ask, how do I use the (thereotical) chained shiny method to search for my seed? I can't find this method in my time finder

It's in Chain to SID on the right side of RNG Reporter's main window.

I know for Platinum there was PokeRNG so that you could find spreads easier. Is there anything like that for HG/SS?
PokeRNG works for HGSS as well. The only difference is wilds in HGSS are generated using Method K, not J. And breeding is generated a little differently, but that method is also on the new RNG Reporter.

That's not a very good IV spread. Are you sure you don't want to see if there's a better one for your shiny pokemon? The frame is really high and that's a lot of work for a pokemon that doesn't have good IVs. You'd be better off looking for another shiny spread or doing an RNG catch on a better non-shiny pokemon.

@ Riski
Yes thank you, but after I inputted everything there's one result, the possibilities row changes from 8192 to 0, and .. nothing else.
How can I see/use this seed?

Why don't you use Wichu's program to check for your available shiny spreads? The link for it is somewhere on the first page of this help thread.

Sorry, I can't help you with this question because I calculated all my SIDs (before getting my AR) from random shiny catches. I was never very good at chaining. Hopefully someone else will know how to help you.

My apologies. I have nothing to help you with that. I've left the gyarados alone because I'm not sure about how to RNG it.

Thanks.

So you want the answer to what OmegaDonut is talking about here (right?):

The Red Gyarados is generated by the same algorithm used to generate chained shinies in DPPt. Version 7.50 and later of RNG Reporter lists the spreads, but not necessarily the correct frames they appear on.

I'd like the answer to that as well. Where is this place in RNG Reporter that lists the spreads of chained shinies? Is it Chain to SID or some other function?

I've been having trouble for the past 2-3 days in HG for a shiny rhyhorn. Every time I hit my delay and time I never get my shiny rhyhorn. I know my ID and SID are right because they've never changed the last 4-5 times i've done it. I think its my frame but i'm not 100% sure. I've even grabbed every egg and not one was shiny.

the seed is 520A0240
delay is 492
date is 7-2-2084
time and seconds 10:24:44
target frame 2
ID-25697
SID-29709
nature = careful
I'm not using intl parents.

I have a quick question; when using PikaTimer, the beeps that sound in the countdown at T-10, etc are not working. Anyone know why?
