[Standard] Peace NOCed down Mafia - The Bribed Win!

I would rather lynch one of the inactives rather than Raverist to be honest. Mafia tend to try to be overlooked by not posting in the thread, as some of you know already. I realize that Day 1 only started two hours ago, so I'm just gonna wait to cast my vote.

Not a good idea lynching me. No, that's the first step to the fall of the village.

I'm a power role for the village, unlike Jman, who seems ever so shifty. Hell, I'd go as far to say that by lynching J-man, we could only lose out on a basic vanillager, or perhaps even a mafian.

However, terminating me d1 is not a good idea, since I can help clean a villager.

my fucking god did you really just claim inspector.

lynch raverist

damn I hate the complicated lynch rules.
I said "or." Size 7 OR bold OR colored. Or was that style a joke? I'll accept it as a vote, though. Even though it looks very weird. (also, the "unbold" rule applies for "reduce size" and "uncolor" for revoking votes.)

EDIT: And/or means Lynch Aura Guardian or Lynch Aura Guardian or Lynch Aura Guardian or any combination of those!

It will be interesting to see who the boss chose as his mafiosos.

I would generally be inclined to vote off one of the more experienced players (If you were mafia boss, wouldn't you want them on your side?). However, the more experienced players are more likely to be inspected and get exposed, so maybe the boss picked some less experienced players who could fall through the cracks, and it would be best to vote off the quiet or less experienced players.

I think we should come up with a plan as the village on how we want to handle these votes especially since the inspectors can't come out yet unless they found a mafioso (I really hope your not inspector raverist). Do we want to get rid of the more experienced players or the quiet types?

Two things.

One: Only role that was usable Night 0 was mafia boss recruiting.
Two: During Day 1, due to lack of information that the village has, all votes are defaulted No Lynch, unless you vote to lynch someone. (This is just like in Mekkah's Unicycle Mafia. So, unless the votes on someone exceed the number of people not voting, there will be no lynch.) All other days, this will not happen.

I think J-squared logic is sound. and given the small amount of inexperienced players in this, it'd be smart to get rid of one, as the mafia probably picked at least one. however that throws me into an unfortunate light (a whopping 11 posts really aren't helping my case) however i'd like to point out that
1. billymills pointed toward J-man without any possibility of using inspector abilities (which makes me think he was trying to bluff it, or was just picking a target<--- more likely because he changed his vote 3 times now)
and
2. fitzy stated that it's his first mafia game (if we go with new players, this might have given the mafia a prime target for a player that can slip through the crack)

i'll go ahead and claim plain-jane villager (though just claiming this might get me lynched) i'd say a safe bet would be to lynch fitzy and hope for the best

unless they're using major reverse psychology, recruiting someone whose abilities on this forum are entirely unknown probably wouldn't be a mafia boss' first choice.

How would the boss know Fitzy won't spill the beans or slip up or be a competant member of the mafia? There's plenty of others whose skills have been seen but aren't really 'name' targets or 'experienced'.

I suppose this might make me look like a mafia boss defending my recruit but............... good game me?? Strategy = F?? Just pointing out the [un]likelihood of Fitzy having been recruited.

I have no interest in lynching inexperienced players.

They will out themselves if they are inexperienced. Experienced players are more of a risk.

Yeti, I can't believe you recruited those guys, come on.

Also lynch -TheLucarioEffect-

i just kind of figured if they picked fitzy, they'd at least try to help in out in what to say/do. and considering it's all in forum chat i figured the chances of him slipping up are less than normal. this is just me stating reasons for my madness

No offense to any if the newerish players, (this is in no way implying that I am expert) but who in their right mind would recruit those who only have one or two games under their belt? There is always the possibility of using reverse psychology like Yeti mentioned, but I don't think an experienced mafia boss would risk having a completely clueless user outing his entire team. I'm now kind of hesitant of voting for TPM, because he seems to me like a less experienced player holding a grudge. I still think the best way to go is lynching someone lurking in the shadows, so to speak, or someone who has only posted things that have nothing to do with the lynch vote.

Hopefully that made sense. I tend to ramble on and on without usually getting to the point.

So far, I believe a [Edit: I've been persuaded enough about having an actual lynch. Once we get a bit more info, I guess it would make sense to lynch.] is going to be the safest way to start off. The lack of information we have as a village, the fact we can't communicate outside of this thread, etc, makes this seems like the wisest thing we can do. I believe that N1 and D2 will bring the things we need for the basis for a lynch.

Edit: I agree that we need all the time we can get so that we can understand who to lynch, but we have no information to base ourselves off of because of no results for N0. It's true that we can rand, but to what end does that bring us? The 1/4 chance we actually DO get a mafian (or the 1/20 chance we get the wolf)? Lacking a whole crap ton of info just makes it too easy for a mislynch, and then, we might even lose a good role.
