Not necessarily, most Arceus are either Calm mind or Swords Dance, Blissey or Groudon can either Calm mind with them or phaze them out.

Not to mention Skarmory pretty much completely walls all Swords Dance sets, and Latias can handle all Calm Mind sets that don't carry a super effective Judgment (If she has Thunder, it's only matter of time before parahax, because if they have equal Calm Minds Latias' Dragon Pulse 3HKOes). Also, if you really wanted to, Latias could carry lolRoar and Skarmory nearly always carries Whirlwind.

Swords Dance Arceus with Recover can last-poke-sweep a lot of stall teams. Things like SubCM + Recover Dragon / Dark variants can cause a lot of problems too, as can Steel Calm Mind.

Excuse my ignorance, but when all the Arceus analyses get done in Quality Control and get through Articles and Analysis, how are they organized in the future if we already have a general Arceus analysis on site?

That is currently being discussed, as of right now, the method that we think is going to be put in place is a tab system (sort of like with the generations atm), but this requires someone to spend their valuable time coding it. There are other ideas floating around too, such as a "mega analysis" so to speak, but nothing is certain.

Oh, and also, this came to my head while I was thinking of the possible sets a Psychic Arceus would do (lol):

If Arceus is immune to item removal moves from opposing Pokemon, but learns Trick by itself, can it remove its own Plate by using Trick? I figured this would make Latias hit less or something.

Its ability makes it immune to Trick, but it also makes it unable to use Trick (it actually works on some sims due to a glitch, but we don't really support that).

Eh, I just come up with an idea. Would Specs Latios be worth it just so you Trick Blissey?? Not having Soul Dew sucks, but crippling Blissey seems fun to do.

I'd rather have soul dew for consistent power, with freedom of choice. If you hate blissey that much, use Scizor. Besides tricking soul dew to Blissey would cripple her enough anyways, since she has lost her leftovers.

I have a team of Deoxy-E, Scizor, Kyogre, Wobbafaut, Kingdra and Palkia. I feel as if I need to replace something for Blissey. I was thinking Palkia. Is that a good choice? Is losing a check for kyogre going to harm a team a lot?

Blissey doesn't check Kyogre, stick with Palkia, infact use a mixed set, so you stand a chance against Groudon.

Thanks for the input but I need to have blissey to replace something on my team since over many matches I find as if I lose from statue and getting wore down by hazards. That is why I need blissey to be a cleric and to wish pass but I have nothing for blissey to replace.

I think you mean mixed so Palkia stands a chance against Blissey, ya? Unless Palkia has some super secret physical move that murder Groudon I don't know about

To be honest, if I would choose Latios for using Trick, I would go with Scarf. Yep, it looses good amount of power when you compare it to Palkia and Dialga, and Pursuit weakness is bad, however this 110 speed is perfect thing in ubers outspeeding most Ubers scarfers and still packs enough power to do his job. But I guess Specs would be good surprise... but we all know how active Ubers tier is, making this surprise working once.

I don't think you need in this team Blissey, as it's not that defensive and Blissey would kill your offensive momentum. However I would replace Kingdra here if something, as some really strong dragon attacks may take this team down (Scizor can't switch into them all day long without Roost, with it it's a bit different story). If you really need cleric, while keeping offensive momentum and solid bulk, try... Land Form Shaymin (yes, it's not a gimmick, it has small advantages over Shaymin-S, the biggest one being more bulk). For first, it stops Groudon quite well, as your team doesn't enjoy sun. For second, it would be nice to invest enough speed to outspeed Positive Natured Kyogre, as you may once survive Water Spout, if something will go wrong with Palkia and dent it extremely hard with STAB Seed Flare. Rest into Special Attack (max would be nice) and last EVs in HP. Heal Bell / Seed Flare / Hidden Power Ice / Rest or Earth Power should do the trick in your case.

Actually, I meant Groudon, because if his Kyogre is anything, but scarf. Blissey doesn't stand a chance, unless she's the rare calm mind. Mixed Palkia can also be specially based as well, and Groudon mostly packs physical evs, and Spacial rend hurts.

My Ogre is scarfed... lolz.

I know I seem kind of like a nuisance but I'm really trying to get in to the uber meta game so I ask a favor for you people :). Can someone help give me advice on my team and improve it.

I run a team of lead Deoxy E, ScarfOgre, Specially Mixed Palkia, LO SD Scizor, Wobbafaut and Land Forme Shaymin (suggested by Garganator).

Shaymin's EV spread is HP 88/S.Atk 252/Spd 168 with a Timid nature. With this spread and nature it can out speed positive nature kyogres. It's move set is as followed, Aromatherapy, HP Ice, Seed Flare and Rest. With the move set it can be a cleric, pseudo tank and a check to Groudon, Palkia, Kyogre and Rayquaza's, without over heat.

The purpose of this team is to set up rocks and spikes as quickly as possible whille keeping Wobbafaut and Scizor hidden as long as possible. Then the rest of the team's job is to weaken the foe's team as much as possible. Then once the opportunity is open Wobbafaut, can encore a set up move, or a move that Scizor resist and then I can go into Scizor that has SD and LO thus doing a sizable amount of damage in mid game and potentially sweep.

Ogre is my revenge killer and also forces switches, while weakening the other person's team slowly through residue damage and water spouts. Palkia helps me out by making it so I can hurt Blissey before Scizor appears, and it is a good check to other the foe's Kyogre. Shaymin is my statues healer, semi check to ogre if Palkia is dead and check to Groudon, since sun would be bad for Scizor. It also is a good check to Rayquaza and Palkia and a decent tank that can help my team not get beaten by simultaneous dragon type moves. Deoxy E is my lead and does it's job setting up entry hazards. It carries Lum berry but I might change that to Leftover's and make it bulkier so it can set up entry hazards late game. When I play with him, I often go straight away for Taunt or Stealth Rock. I don't let Deoxy E die so quickly and I will save it for late game as either death fodder or a opportunity to set up hazards.

I know my team sucks, that's why I need help making it better. I will not consider this a RMT since it's not necessary finished.

Thank you in advance- EpicTurtle =D

What do you guys think will be the most domineering/common arceus set if it was ever to be distributed as a non-lvl100?

Probably the same as it is with the EV limit; Extreme Killer (Normal Swords Dance with ExtremeSpeed) or Steelceus. Both are extremely powerful, one with raw power and one with an amazing set of resistances.

It's going to take a while and we'll probably (not too sure about ubers but sure why not) have a different meta but with the 5th gen coming out and the random battle happening (i'll probably use this a lot as well), I was just curious. If it's going to be like PBR, which I think it would be, it'd let ubers in (without crazy hacks so whatever) and I am pretty certain there will be some arceuses around as well...however, i wasnt too sure which ones I should mainly watch out for. hmmmm extremeKiller and the steel variant eh...
