I know I´m a little late for the eye/nose discussion about Koromori, but I´d like to add something:

koromoricon.gif
This is a .gif I made for Live Messenger. I wanted it as a cool Smiley. Now the point: When I showed it to a (completely pokemon-unrelated) friend of mine, the first thing he said, was: "Wow, a cyclops bat!"(in german, but w/e)
It´s not so hard to see it as an eye even WITH the heart-shape. I still like to see it as a nose. Piloswine style is cute(and kinda cool too)^^

And to contribute to the current topic: While it(those Pokedex numbers) seems odd, I´d like to point out, that in the demo neither of those two(Mamepato and Kurumiru) could be found in the grass, iirc. At least, no one mentioned it. Seeing as Gamefreak normally maintains an order in the Pokedex that initiates where in the game(time-wise, beginning-mid-lategame) it can be caught.
If we are ignoring the suspicious source it´s coming from, it could still be true.

EDIT: Just saw that Tabunne isn´t in there yet either and so is Darumakka(which could be seen too, iirc. Damnit, there goes my theory...

Tabunne has been listed now. But anyway, that demo contained wild Pokes that were Lv10 and your rivals had Pokes Lv15+, so it wasn't the beginning. Surely you would be able to find Lv2-6 Mamepato and possibly Kirumiru in the first few beginning routes.

I'm personally pumped that these rumors show Shimama and Koromori getting evos and Moguryu might be found early on!

I guess I'm most looking forward to finding out more about Meguroko's evo though! Funny that it hasn't been revealed by pokexperto. I thought the desert was close to the beginning of the game...

No new comments yet on most of these forums...Everyone is in that sit and wait mode constantly refreshing 3 open windows (like me)...

C'mon meguroko evo(s), where are ya??

To avoid spamming, I would not mind if Ononokusu ended up dragon/poison...

It would be reaaaaly weird to have a Pokemon go from Psychic/Flying to pure Fighting gamefreak o_O That be really crazy.

Still, if it IS real, its going to know Wood Hammer, meaning that Bulkey Water Pokemon can not effectively wall it out, keeping in mind the massive HP its prevo has. Thanks to its prevo it will also have Psychic and Flying type moves, and assuming the abilities carry over, it will have the amazing ability of Unaware, making it a great anti Suicune/Stat boosting pokemon.

What are you talking about??? The Koromori line doesn't evolve into a fighting type. That's just how they were grouped together for the reveal.

Has anybody thought about what the Oath attacks might do? Bearing in mind an oath is a commitment, I wouldn't be surprised if they doubled the power of Grass/Fire/Water moves, but locked you into them.

They seem to be combination attacks that have different effects on the battle field: grass oath then fire oath creates a brush fire that hurts the other team's pokemon.

It is not clear if there are any effects if used alone, outside a combo.

Hiro said Meguroko evolves twice.

Melkor updated:
Fanart for Yanappu Evo (mostly right, just add white-haired armpits)
yavo.jpg

Credit for that art goes to the user Unown of Pokejungle

533: Fighting Type guy with an iron girder. It is stronger that its pre-evo and has a clown nose.

I really like Yanappu's evo assuming Melkor is posting legit information and the fanart is somewhat accurate. It reminds me of Garu from the Monster Rancher series.

Melkor updated:
534: Fighting Type guy with a concrete block on each hand. It got huge and badass in the process. The clown nose is not funny anymore.

So this pokemon is the V gen Machamp.

As long as it doesn't have something stupid like No Guard.

I can handle Machamp having it, but no more please.

Just realised what ability the cyclops bat has. Klutz and Unaware. If the evos have those same abilities I will be very happy. Two epic abilities.
