It has a chance of forcing a switch, and likely negative priority. So if Ononokusu is a pseudo-ledge and has something like 130/100/130/60/130/50, it will be a stall team monster:

Hippowdon/Blissey/Skarmory/Tentacruel/Jirachi/Ononokusu.

Shudder.

Also, I'm surprisingly pleased with the new pokes revealed. I was going to come on here and complaing about the starter evo's (which I've already explained the crappiness of ad nauseum), but now I only have positive things to say.

I want a Pokeball Mushroom right now. It better evolve and get Spore.

I'm really hoping Tauros -> Baffuron, but it seems like Aloe will probably get it due to the whole Afro thing, and since the game is purging old pokes pre-National Dex. . . Let's just hope, hmmkay?

I'm liking the monkey trio. Pretty solid. Desukan lived up to expectations as well.

I MUST HAVE DENCHURA.
 
I would guess Dragon Tail to have something around 60 BP and a 30-50% switch chance. It'll be very amusing when an opponent switches to a counter (assuming this thing will even have a counter) only to get smacked away. Talk about abusing entry hazards.
 
GAH!! Whyyy did they give the fossils poo typing T.T I guess rock/flying's oookay, but water/rock?! Kabutops is one of my faves, but he's uber fast, and I don't think a turtle will end up being so. Maybe it'll have an awesome ability that'll save it!! Maybe herbivore?

AHHHH. If it gets Herbivore that would be amazingly cool. But probably not... :(
 
It'd still have so many weaknesses, even if it had herbivore... let's see, electric, fighting, ground... actually not tooo bad, even if they're all very common

Ehhh. You're probably right. As a turtle it will probably defensive, and Water/Rock just isn't a good defensive type. They just don't cover eachother well.
 
But it has Sturdy, rapin spin, stealth rock, a good physical water STAB, great physical attack, and the ability Sturdy /in my dreams

The fossils are never very good, this Gen's ones probably won't buck the trend. Shitty typing on the turtle and I'm not sure what direction they'll be going in with the bird.

I hope this is the last I'm saying this to anyone.

There are no new evolutions for past generation of Pokémon.
I know it sucks but it can't be helped.
 
Loving the new fossils!

The turtle sounds defensive...I can use that. The bird one is awesome too. Now, just need Gear to be really awesome, and maybe one more Steel 3-stager.
