For those with JPN 4th Gen games... can you transfer a Pokemon with Whirlpool from D/P/Pt and a Pokemon with Defog from Hg/Ss? I ask this because Whirlpool isn't an HM in the Sinnoh games and Defog isn't an HM in the Johto games.

They wouldn't let you pal park pokés with Dive, so I'm guessing it's the same deal here.

You mean no Dive Pokemon could be brought from Fr/Lg? I guess that would make it more likely, but it would still be nice to know for sure...

Just a bit earlier in this thread, somebody who'd tested breeding Hihidaruma and Musharna with Dream World abilities reported that the baby has a chance of having the Dream World ability if the mother does, which also presumably means that the father is free to have egg moves and pass them on.

To pass on Dream World abilities does the mother have to be carrying an everstone? Also is this a new mechanic in the 5th gen games, that mothers can pass on abilities to their offspring and bringing another mechanic that the mother fulfills (since Hg/Ss both fathers and mothers have the ability to pass on nature if they're carrying the egg stone, making mothers only good for species and nothing more).

There aren't any--all 156 new Pokemon are completely unrelated to the other 493.

No, you can only go from diamond -> black through the pokeshifter, which is like the pal park.

If you haven't got a second DS + Black or White you could try if the GTS trick still works. (The GTS is still in these games, correct?)

The daycare route also seems to have some kind of children daycare, with an outside playground. There are quite a few NPC's there.
I haven't observed their movement paterns yet though.

After you beat the E4 for the first time, one of your rivals has it, and there's a trainer somewhere inside the victory road cave who has one too.Iirc, there are more.

Word has it, it's region locked or even language locked much like Pal Park is. I can't verify this myself though.
