Thanks. I'll still ask him about the spreads and where the information is corroborating shininess in Wishmaker Jirachi. I tried finding factual data about this a year ago to no avail. So it would be nice to finally get some facts.

Chances are, if it's one of the 8 legit shiny spreads, that he's probably talking about the Docile nature Jirachi (I have that one as well). This is what it looks like, I'm 99% sure of it (notice how he didn't mention IVs and nature):
