Yes there is, since Overheat can destroy pokemon who are too bulky for flamethrower but flamethrower gives you some consistency, and can let you sweep a weakened team. It should run a timid nature to allow it to outrun +ve nature base 130 pokemon.

HP Ice lets you revenge DD Nite at +1 assuming Multi Scale isn't activatet.
Energy Ball is a option for Waters, but they are often too bulky to be OHKOed and Shadow Ball is often enough as it hits for 120BP while SE Energy Ball hits for 160 BP.
Some ppl suggest Psychic for Fighting types but Over Heat hits them for more damage and it makes you even more TTar bait.
Speaking of TTar HP Fighting is an option too if you want to pick off an unsuspecting TTar, but it has little use other wise.
 
I was just wondering if the GTS trade glitch still in works in Black and White, the glitch where you can evolve pokemon. EVen though GTS isint a specific place, all its features are still in black and white and I was wondering if this feature as well was implemented?

Hope you guys don't hate me for "bumping" my question lol... it was just the last post on the page and thought it might have been overlooked. Again, sorry if this is the wrong thread, couldn't think of where else it would go...
 
I heard Custap Berry should be available if you transfer the movie Dogs (Entei, Suicune etc.) to a Gen 5 game via some kind of Poke Shifter they will hold their respective Berry however i am not 100% sure about this and its quite controversial so this might not be true and Custap maybe is illegeal till now.
Soul Dew is another currently illegal item since it can't be found ingame (its likely to be released via a future event though) i am pretty sure that there are some other currently unavailable items (Lax incense should be illegal till now), but Custap and Soul Dew are the only ones that really matter.

As you said Meloetta, Keludio and Genosecuto are Event Pokemon that are not realeased therefore they are banned from standart play until they get released in their respective events.
Other than these 3, no other Pokemon are currently banned (there are still a lot of unreleased DW abilities though).
 
Custap can be obtained in gen IV from the events but can't be transferred to gen 5. However, I think people are getting berries from the dream world, so check there.
 
Does anyone know the Global Link passcode for the new Tabunne skin for the C-Gear (or whether it's a one-use-only like Mamoswine and the Eeveeloutions)
 
How do I connect to the smogon server in pokemon online, complete newb to actually using online...

Someone know a thread they can point me to? It's gotta be on here.

Same as usual. Mew, mewtwo, celebi, ho-oh, lugia, kyogre, groudon, ray, jirachi, deoxys, darkrai, shaymin, dialga, palkia, arceus, manaphy, phione, reshiram, zekrom, kyuremu, meloetta, and genosect are choice banned.
 
According from Gen5 RNG thread

In the fifth generation of Pokémon, the IVs are determined by a separate RNG instead of along with the PID, which determines nature, gender, ability, and shininess. This means that there is no longer a relationship between IVs and PID. This implies that there is no longer an IV restriction on natures, so any nature can now have any combination of IVs!

Is it mean that now you catch pokemon with nature and ability that you want and can hack it's IV and can't detect it's legit or not!?

Man...this is very bad...
 
This has probably been asked too many times aldready, but are Gamefreak telling us when they release Dream World Pokemon? I'm tired of following this thread: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80928

Also, does it exist a single thread/document over move changes from 4.gen to B/W? I know Encore only work for 3 rounds now, but that's it really. Been away from the game too long.

The research thread lists all the changes we know of. As for your former question, I can't answer since I don't keep track of Dream World myself.
 
besides pokemon with moves only obtained in gen IV (tms and tutors), are pokemon who originated from either gamecube's col. or XD with special moves (i.e. togepi with tri attack) also banned from the random match feature?

I was under the impression that only hacked Pokemon were banned from random matches and that the whole no generation IV moves thing was a myth.
