My seconds are ok 14 seconds or on rare occasions 13, My delay it's not standart..it ranges from 600 to 612
Try using 14 seconds and 600 delay. Use flips to verify rather than IVs. a +/-100 delays and -1/+0 seconds is usually a required at first in your seed to time window. Search there to see what you hit.

I am using flips to verify my Delay...the problem is the iv spread i searched is 610 ...is there anyway to achieve that?

I know it sounds weird, but this is how I did it just recently. What happens is that the ID/SID is set about 3 seconds after you hit the A button. It is impossible to target that exact time because it's not set when you hit the button but rather a fixed period of time afterwards. The time at that point is what matters, not when you hit the button.

tl;dr trust me, it works =D
Ok I tried that but I hit a delay of 5911 instead of my target 5831 delay ?? How is this happening ????

Meh.. I may have got the calibration wrong because I couldn't remember it. You got the correct second though, right? Anyway, just put 5911 in the update box and you'll be fine.

@Loukas
How big of a range are you using when searching in RNG Reporter?

592-612 range 14 secs

Diabolico: Save before you enter the ruins the second time with Cynthia or inside the ruin one step before you activate the event that gives you the egg. RNG as normal on Method 1.

If you opt for the first option, then your frame may advance but you can still exit and do other stuff whereas if you save one step before collecting the egg, you're kinda at the mercy of the RNG until you get it. It's up to you.

You're searching to see which delay you're actually hitting so you can adjust your timer based upon that.
That is what i am trying to say...i am not hitting something specific..i am hitting between 600-614 but not 610..i have only hit once...Is ZOMGTimer gonna help?

If you're using DPPt, probably not. For HGSS it would help tremendously.

And you just have to get used to the feeling of hitting certain delays. If you find that you're always hitting one delay, then change the year on your DS (increasing by one year decreases the delay by one, and decreasing the year by one increases the delay by one) so your target delay is the one you're usually hitting.

OK I will try and see..

So, am I crazy, or has anyone heard/experienced a cart being *stuck* on even delays?

I have an old beat-up, Yorkie-chewed-on Diamond cart, that still functions quite well, but no matter the configuration (Year/GBA cart), I can only hit even delays. Altering the aforementioned variables still alters the even/odd for my platinum/HGSS carts, but not this singular Diamond cart.

All my carts except my diamond carts have even delay
My diamond cart have both even and odd (for some reason)

If you need to hit an odd frame just change the year by one so the target delay is even

@Winters Zombie
I thought so, just didnt fact check that

Normally Diamond and Pearl are supposed to have mixed delays.
Plat, HGSS are supposed to stick to just one.
What I find more odd about all of this, is that I've done extensive RNG abuse on all of my carts, and don't think I've ever experienced a stuck delay. From ID/SID abuse, to CP/BPs, I've always experienced the odd/even switch with year/GBA cart. Until this afternoon, I would have sworn to you with 100% certainty that all of my Pokemon carts behaved in this manner, being mixed delays.

It's not that big of an issue, I was simply using my Diamond cart for hexflawless WC (fb100958 is vastly superior to the how to catch perfect WC listed frame, btw, Frame 26!), so it's just a minor annoyance having pokemon from the past/future.

On the subject of WC, I noticed that the 'fairly comprehensive list of low frame usable spreads' listed in the RNG guide is, well, terrible. So, being bored and having 20+ WCs to RNG before Celebii is released:

These are all the 30+ Hidden Power 70 spreads that are sub-150 frame advancements. Almost every HP type has an odd/even representation (since WC abuse in DPPt is a pita in general). There were a very small handful of potentially usable spreads above frame 150, but I figured that anyone looking for a special/physical/mixed-specific spread would do that stuff on their own anyways. As always, just add 2 to the Method 1 frame.

PS. Yes, I know that there are numerous spreads that ignore 1-2 stats that are perfectly usable, I just like nice high numbers :nerd:
