in pokemon white, there is a man in Opelucid city that requests a pokemon that knows charge from black version. when you bring him that pokemon, does anyone have any idea what happens?

Thanks for clearing that up for me, I was about to ask why a player in #spp-WiFi was asking specifically for a Black-version Poke with Charge :P

I haven't encountered Tornadus yet... I know it's randomly encounter-able, but does it flee after one turn? I don't want to use the Masterball Juniper just gave me.

I know what happens in Black, but I dont see why it wouldnt work in White.

There is an event with some sort of non Celebi Related Time Travel, which might actually be different depending on the version, but after it you get the Cell Battery item, It raises your attack if you get hit by a electric attack. It's a one use item, and you could just buy it from the Subway, but hey it's free. You dont even lose the pokemon.

The Joltik I'm raising sadly can't have HP Ice/Fire. Should I just use the Thunder/Bug Buzz/Energy Ball/Volt Switch? I'm thinking of slashing thunder wave on the 3rd and 4th slots since I kinda lack status inflicters in my team. Any suggestions?

Paralyse is always a great status to have, so I would suggest that if you are lacking in status run it with that. The rest of the moves are decent and there's not much else to change with them.

So which do you suggest I replace it with, Energy Ball or Volt Switch? Both seem to be decent moves for joltik to have. :\

Anybody? For anybody who cares, Milotic doesn't need any extra special attack evs. Four speed evs would bring it to 198 and it sits at an awkward speed tier that it only shares with Gyarados anyway!

Oh, definitely give it the speed, then. No speed Dragon Tail Gyarados is actually fairly common, and you want your Dragon Tail to hit first.

In Game Question

Okay, in the game on my way to Driftveil, and my team looks like this:

Servine
Swoobat
Gurdurr
Palpitoad

I've already decided to add a Litwick as soon as I get to Celestial Tower. I'm still left weak to Flying attacks. So, I decided I should add a Steel, and narrowed it down to the Klink's and Bisharp.
I'm leaning toward Klink, but I'd like to get an outside opinion. Anyone?

Klink has one usable move. That move is Gear Grind. Steel is a horrible offensive type, while Bisharp is slow but helps against the E4 I've heard. You can check the In-Game Tier List Discussion to check what Pokemon are best to use, or, you can check what Pokemon are worst to use (If you want a bit more of a challenge)

Bisharp was very good for me in-game, while as the poster above me mentioned, the Klink family has a VERY poor movepool. I'd definitely go with Bisharp

EDIT: Also, Bisharp is very good against the Elite 4. 4x resists Dark and Ghost, Unaffected by Psychic. His Dark-type STABs are super effective against two E4 members, while he can learn X-Scissor and Brick Break for the 3rd.

Not exactly game related, but it's a pokemon related simple question, so I guess it fits.
As April Fools is over where I am, were there any good pokemon related April fools pranks?

Trade with someone and d/c. Then never speak to them again until tomorrow. Tell them it was an April Fools' prank. But no, please don't do it. It could possibly get you blacklisted. Could probably be fun, though, if you see their reactions. Otherwise, no, don't do it. lol

How do you get Conkeldurr to learn mach and drain punch?

How can Conkeldurr know both mach and drain punch when he has to breed from separate Pokemon for both?

Which should I use, with a CB Scizor in mind:

Scyther, Adamant, Technician
31 / 31 / 24 / 3 / 15 / 31
31 / 28 / 23 / 3 / 31 / 31

Are those extra 16 Sp. Def points worth the slight drop in Atk and Def?

Hitmonchan learns Mach Punch by level up and Drain Punch via TM in the generation IV games.

What do people overall prefer for Shell Smash Carracosta, Solid Rock or Sturdy? I'm leaning on Solid Rock as Stealth Rock is so common and Solid Rock allows it to take most super effective physical hits anyway. Just wanna be sure since I actually breed and train. :P

Solid Rock is indeed prefered.
