I'm sure there are some English-language game-players still interested. But believe you me, the Japanese offer good 5th gen Pokes, egg-move or DW, or even 5th gen EV'eds for 1-4th gen Pokes/EV'eds. How you trade with them: Go onto GTS Negotiations at night, and be patient to find a Japanese player that has 250+ trades. They usually have really good Pokemon, and I've gotten 30-40 of my 5th gen EV'ed Pokemon this way.

Besides the Matsuda Method shiny rate of 1:2,048 becoming more difficult, has the normal shiny of 1:8,192 rate stayed the same?
I believe the shiny rate is the same in 5th gen as before.

maybe this isnt a simple question but should i use the jolly technician scyther i just got or evolve it into scizor? for some reason i couldnt find a 5th gen scizor thread (only an uber one) and i only found a little cup scyther set
Isn't Scyther a bit above the Little Cup? IIRC, so was Sneasel.

Apparently Adamant is the most prefered nature, just like in Gen IV, since Scizor is not in a great Speed tier.
Looking for a suitable father to breed Dark Pulse into Deino. Don't have much, unforunately, so if you want it back I can live with that.
Is it me...? I did an IV check with my Frillish @ Lv. 50, and it had a 20 IV in Defense (63). But now that it's a Jellicent and now has 216 Def EVs, it's at a 107 at Level 50. So suddenly its Defense IV gets cut in half? I know I calculated the EVs right...what's going on?
Make it into an Eviolite bulky SD set. I fought one of those on Random Matchup and got swept (I had BulkyGyara, Scizor and Sawsbuck, my Scizor's Adamant max Attack Technician BP did 40% damage to the Scyther so I just ran since it'd kill Scizor (and outspeed and kill Sawsbuck) with Aerial Ace.
Yes, Scyther is still banned from LC. Jolly is a really undesirable nature on Scizor, though, so unless you really want ot use Eviolite Scyther in OU, I'm not sure you'll find any use for it
No, it was considered Unfit to have an OU analysis.
I use it in Random Matchup against OU Pokes, it works rather well.. Also, I do believe I have seen a Gothitelle analysis but it's really far back in this forum under its Japanese name I think
