Alright, so I tested the disconnect thing. On one of my games I disconnected on people (but stayed out of my favorite format), and on the other, I did not. The latter, I faced opponents sooner than on the prior game after a while. Also, I was never pit against myself. My connection clearly has nothing to do with this. I was in battles on both devices at the same time. On my fresh game, people never disconnected, on the old one, everyone would when things got ugly.
I actually haven't finished a Launcher Battle on my main game in days. My ranking as the only American at the top of a format is going to disappear. So sad me. Then again I assume one of you will probably overtake somebody at the top spot soon. And, I did discover the ability to have 2 Launcher Battles on both of my DS over Wifi, and still win.
PS: Sorry if I disconnected on you. I am aware as anyone that it isn't nice. I did so at the begginings, middles, and ends of battles. I know, I know, I am sorry.
For me Jap players are the more honorable players. Like one just forfeited instead of rage quiting. I respect that
There are "punishments" for D/Cing and it's simply not being able to find a battle. If a good amount of disconnections occur I'm not able to find a battle and I have to get off wi-fi and then get back on, even if it's not my fault.
has anyone had that?
That's the problem I had on my main game, that's what you get for putting stuff to sleep.
The only reason I fear Gastrodon. I can only remember fissure missing once.
Lol, I get this too...
I once had a 17-minute battle and the other person D/C'ed. Same with a 22-minute battle.
I had a 37 minute battle where somebody disconnected after reviving two Pokemon and using Protect three times in a row... just this morning.
I wasn't planning to stall forever. Once Sigilyph is done buffing its defenses, it starts flinging 260 power Stored Powers around.
I know, just watch out for boosting items if you use it in Launcher Battles.
If you'd swept with it sooner you would have had me. I always get over confident and let a Giratina Calm Mind like six times on Wii.
