I've seen two conkledurr...what a waste of space....all my opponents suck and it irks me to no end....I'm sick of people sucking,I'm sick of people disconnecting, I'm sick of the lack of creativity....I'm sooooo done with the stupid ass people I've fought.
/pointless rant

....anyone try stunfisk? If so, was it any good?

I EV'ed a Bold Defensive Stunfisk with (admittedly) Fissure/Pain Split. It works well, it can take quite a few hits.

@ Red
I have an EV'ed one but I don't use it anymore, and when I do use it, I use the whole EV'ed trio along with my EV'ed genie trio for the coolness factor.

lol, your whining about that? You should be whining about the hoardes of rain/sand teams. Conkuldurr is an original pokemon. Stunfisk sucks. And bro honestly, do you actually have a right to say people aren't good? No way on earth you got only 5 loses. You had to have D/c'd. There's far too much hax to accomplish that record. So, you simply d/c on a lot of battles that you'd lose and you play through (and win) the wins that you can win.

now I'm the dumb ass for reading your sig wrong.

Lolololol! Although, before I restated my game I had 50 wins....and 40 something losses......

On topic/ I got an email from nintedo saying almost the exact same thing the other notes said.

I haven't accomplished this level of not-losing-ness, but the OP had listed a team in another thread that got 70-4 in double battles (And looking at it, you would believe it too). Add having a very good team to the fact that about 80% of the opponents you face are people that just wandered into wifi with their ingame teams, and a ten-to-one win/loss ratio is not unrealistic.

My current record is 18 D/Cs in one day, versus 33 wins that were actually recorded. D/Cing got much less annoying once I started recording every D/C I got, even though it doesn't add to my record in any way by having a bunch of numbers listed on paper.

I'm currently at 84 D/Cs, plus about 15 before I started recording these things daily.

EDIT: Make that 90 D/Cs, forgot to write in the ones I got yesterday.

Weird. I've played about 70 ranked matches and I've only had 3 or so d/c's.

Well, my D/C count is also out of 408 total battles, and in Free mode where this is much more rampant. Those things considered, it's really not a hefty number of D/Cs (Only about 20%).

Alright, so I tested the disconnect thing. On one of my games I disconnected on people (but stayed out of my favorite format), and on the other, I did not. The latter, I faced opponents sooner than on the prior game after a while. Also, I was never pit against myself. My connection clearly has nothing to do with this. I was in battles on both devices at the same time. On my fresh game, people never disconnected, on the old one, everyone would when things got ugly.

I actually haven't finished a Launcher Battle on my main game in days. My ranking as the only American at the top of a format is going to disappear. So sad me. Then again I assume one of you will probably overtake somebody at the top spot soon. And, I did discover the ability to have 2 Launcher Battles on both of my DS over Wifi, and still win.

PS: Sorry if I disconnected on you. I am aware as anyone that it isn't nice. I did so at the begginings, middles, and ends of battles. I know, I know, I am sorry.

For me Jap players are the more honorable players. Like one just forfeited instead of rage quiting. I respect that

There are "punishments" for D/Cing and it's simply not being able to find a battle. If a good amount of disconnections occur I'm not able to find a battle and I have to get off wi-fi and then get back on, even if it's not my fault.

has anyone had that?

That's the problem I had on my main game, that's what you get for putting stuff to sleep.

The only reason I fear Gastrodon. I can only remember fissure missing once.

Lol, I get this too...

I once had a 17-minute battle and the other person D/C'ed. Same with a 22-minute battle.

I had a 37 minute battle where somebody disconnected after reviving two Pokemon and using Protect three times in a row... just this morning.

I wasn't planning to stall forever. Once Sigilyph is done buffing its defenses, it starts flinging 260 power Stored Powers around.

I know, just watch out for boosting items if you use it in Launcher Battles.

If you'd swept with it sooner you would have had me. I always get over confident and let a Giratina Calm Mind like six times on Wii.

I've won 9 ranked matches today and all 9 D/C'd. It's gotten to the point where it seems pointless to even bother playing random wifi anymore. 4 out of 5 wins are D/C's.

I have been embarrassed earlier. My fully-EV'ed good-moveset double weather team got beat by a cruddy non-EV'ed team consisting of Pikachu, Lopunny, Charizard, Flygon, Weavile and Milotic. I didn't D/C, as they deserved the win for beating my overpowered team with those Pokemon, but it made me seriously reconsider the Pokemon in my team..

Also lost a 21-minute stallwar between Jumpluff and SDChomp. It was raining so Synthesis didn't help much, but I kept Encoring his Earthquake (He used it to take out Darmanitan and Politoed) which was pretty funny.

i had a 30 min match in which my opponent basically waited till the battle timer was in the 10 secs. its like he literally wanted me 2 disconnect, n on top of that 2 of his pkmn had protect. i got tired and disconnected.

I hate people that do that. In my book, it's fine to D/C in those cases.

I had a 45 minute match where my murkrow perish trapped his tyranitar after 3 feather dances and then I used murkrow to mean look his team, roosting and featherdancing them while his own sandstorm killed him.

He DC'd, I imagine out of rage.

Perhaps the best is doing that kind of shit to what you KNOW are kids using hyperbeam on snorlax.

I feel good when my team annoyingly stalls a team with shit like encore/taunt Whimsicott.

This may be a childish way of dealing with it, but I just D/C right back. I keep count of how many times I get D/Cd on and if I'm up against some ridiculously cheap team I just D/C halfway through without even trying to win. Kind of like keeping a flawed sense of balance in my mind. Like I said, childish, but when you look at it there's really nothing else you can do. I forgot who posted it, but someone said to make a team to deliberately piss people off and I like that idea too. I don't want to just get pissed and bitch about it. It does defeat the purpose of playing online for ranking and all but it's either play on that and deal with rage-quitters or play somewhere like here or marriland where they've got countermeasures in place against rage-quitters but you're basically just playing PO/Shoddy on the game boy. Just skip the whole step of turning on your game system and keep it on the computer.

I only D/C if somebody did it before. Say, I see the same person twice. If it's a fair battle, I accept my loss. If somebody is spamming Double Team, I would D/C.

I usually write the OT's and locations before my matches. And if they happen to D/C, and if I see them again, I would just DC if I would be losing. That'd be a good way to get back at those assholes. :\

I guess that's one way, but there are over a million people registered to the GL; the chances of encountering the same person in another play session is pretty unlikely.
