I need to evolve my haunter but im not sure how trading over wifi works and if there is a certain policy for trading to make sure no one gets scammed?

1. It says it doubles the EV value gained for the pokemon. Does this double the EV gained for power items as well? For example if my Zorua was holding a Power Lens, and battling Bascalins, would it get +4 speed and +8 special attack?

2. Just for clarification, if I leave a pokemon with the pokerus in my computer it will stay on the pokemon? And I can't remember but also do the effects stay on the pokemon even if the pokemon is cured?

3. If it does double the EV of held items, how does Macho Brace work? Would you get +8 from doubling it twice or just +6 (2 +2 from Macho Brace and +2 from Pokerus)?

1.- I dunno how many Evs does Bascalins usually give but I'll assume it gives 2 speed normally. And yes, the pokerus acts as a multiplier for every EV you gain upon defeating another pokemon.
2.- Both statements are correct. Even though they get cured, they only lose the ability to spread the virus but they'll benefit from it endlessly.
3.- Macho Brace acts as a second multiplier, so the formula would be like (Evs given by a certain pokemon)*2(macho brace)*2(pokerus) which in the end means every EV you get will be multiplied by 4.

Hold on, say what? The effects of Pokerus still stay even after you're immune? That's news to me.
 
How can I breed a Zorua with both Dark Pulse and Snatch? It's not illegal because I've used it on Pokemon Online (they tell you when there's an illegal set). I havn't bred for egg moves in years so I can't figure it out.
 
It can get both through Breeding / Chain Breeding. Some parents that can learn both via TM / Level Up / Egg move are Toxicroak, Absol, and Mightyena, while I'm unsure if Toxicroak and Zorua / Zoroark can breed.
 
Do you get a message in Dream World when you unlock a new area? New Pokemon?

If Dream World doesn't tell you when you unlock a new area, is anyone else re-entering Pleasant Forest an obnoxious amount of times after passing 2500 points?

for someone who doesn't hack or RNG, is a 31/0/31/31/21/31 spread for Ludicolo good? It's calm and will have EVs in SP.Def, so I don't think the 10 points will be too big of a loss.

how obnoxious? (I'm trying to figure out the issues I'm having)

my girlfriend entered the island 20 times over the last few days after passing 2500 (starting counting only after she started DW with 2500). of that 20, she hasn't gotten anything but the forest yet. Am I looking at 30 times? 50?

..hell, if I enter the forest, then leave without exploring, does that count towards my "4 effective runs per day" count?

It just seems random to me. I enter about 6 or 7 times and sometimes I'll get majority Forest, sometimes 50 50, sometimes lean towards Sky. Sometimes I start with Sky, sometimes Forest.

For what it's worth, I make a point to go all the way to 1 step before returning, befriending every mon I meet.
 
What are the best Physical+Special Tanks in terms of base stats and typing? It also needs to be able to learn Roar/Whirlwind, Toxic, and Thunderwave. I was thinking Registeel with monstrous 150/150 defenses, but I unfortunately have no way to get him, so what are some really good non-legendary tanks?

are you able to find mons/items on run 6/7? ours craps out after 4 runs, and we can't find anything anymore.

also, just to clarify: our 20+ times is the RNG just crapping all over us? there's no, like, issue going on or something else that I haven't heard of? it doesn't take a week to register 2500 points or anything?
 
7 has been the first time I've gone so long, and the first time a trip was barren. 1- 6 have Pokemon and items just fine.

I broke 2500 and the next day I went to Sky on my second trip. It might take a day, but certainly not a week.
 
What provides more EXP when power-leveling guys to around 50 outside the Giant Chasm, giving the lead Lucky Egg and switch, or use EXP Share(still for the lead and switching, so it's 2/3s the EXP)?
 
Two more questions:

1. Does Choice Specs boost Doom Desire? If yes, does it still boost it if you switch?

2. Does Red Card still activate if you are behind a Sub?

I believe it will be boosted either way.

Also, I just tested it, it didn't activate but they didn't break my Sub. Will test to see if it activates when they break the Sub

Edit: It won't work at all behind a Sub. Pansear broke my Cottonee's Substitute while it held Red Card (The trainer had 3 healthy Pokemon) and nothing happened. A Petilil used Mega Drain on Whimsicott's Red-Carded Substitute (and didn't break it, they had 2 healthy Pokemon), and it didn't do anything either.
