I would like to point out that I recognised Galladiator as a poor villager who was in way over his head, and refused to vote for him entirely, unlike the majority of players in this game. I tried to save a villager, you guys just wanted to get the day over with.

And come on, if I was a member of the mafia, would I really consent to killing off the sole person who ended up voting for me? I might as well just spam 'LYNCH ME I AM MAFIA' in this thread.

It just so happens that Brammi was suspicious of me, and the mafia is hoping that Brammi's death last night will inevitably lead to my lynching today, thus netting them two deaths for the price of one.

Don't let their plan succeed folks.

Um if the inspector checked me and found out I am a villager what should he do.

I understand the Galladiator lynch was bad people, but I mean if I was mafia why would I risk drawing so much attention to myself to lynch someone I knew would make me a prime target for the Day 2 lynch? Or is it more likely that I misinterpreted a beginner's panicky attitude as a sign he was mafia and ended up being wrong?

I guess I'll let you guys decide on that, but I don't see how anyone can possibly think that if I were mafia I would risk drawing so much attention to myself Day 1.

Also I guess there isn't a wolf because only one kill?

perhaps the wolf/mafia had a double target or one simply doesn't kill n1, then again, there may well be no wolf, it depends on the game format chosen and I assume this is based off a mafiascum format
 
I'd give it a day to decide if Spiffy was wolf or not, but I'm calling now BS on the hooking. If there's at least this many vanillas, a mafia hooker makes the game imbalanced, and a village hooker isn't a common role in NOC games (see: peace NOC). It doesn't help he's spending an awfully large amount of time in school while we wait for some snippet or summary of flavor... I don't think he has any killing power, and I'm tempted to not give him another night to prove it and lynch him now, unless we get an inspect talking, and maybe even if we do.

And Fate, that is noted, but it's unproveable either way. Although if you're right, that pretty much guarantees at least one of the very experienced players (looking at Billy) is mafia. And at the moment, I doubt it. Or I'm just overanalyzing it and they did a kind thing in killing Brammi, since he has so many exams and stuff coming up.
 
mafia hooker stops "follow the cop" that happens in all of our other games. cops on sites like mafiascum are pretty much hated when in conjunction with a doctor for the fact that it makes the game so much less about scumhunting than hard evidence on a lynch. hearing that there may be a mafia hooker is not at all surprising to me for that reason. cop needs to be especially cautious about claiming without a guilty on anyone.

"bandwagoning and contributing nothing" describes most of this game

i am still finding spiffy very suspicious. apparently being hooked (and idling) with "manaburned or something". he should have had his result pm open in another tab and been able to tell just exactly what his flavor was, regardless of his ability to quote or c/p it.

not to mention manaburned sounds like the flavor for when manav screws your whole faction over lol. AND how long it took him to get "manaburned or something".

if the inspector hasn't already checked spiffy, requesting this tonight. don't come forward yet unless spiffy gets himself lynched and you know he's actually the vig and you did inspect him, but definitely look into this guy.

so uhhhh anyone else have any ideas besides offing an idler (of which there are many, so speak up polelover) or is that what we're gonna do here? i mean we have no deadline but it'd be best if we end this day in less than a month (here's looking at silph and its eternal cycles).
 
Hmm...I think US might be right about polelover, but I'm holding off a vote until more people start claiming. Obviously, I'm skeptical about trusting US from my suspicions last round and the mislynch, so I think it's a good idea to start grilling some of the more suspicious members in the group.

I don't think Spiffy's scum, but I wouldn't rule it out.
 
I have to say that while UncleSam did lead a lynch against an innocent target, I don't believe he's mafia just yet. While this may make me seem like I'm allied with UncleSam, I doubt anyone would attract so much attention to himself just to get a villy lynch, especially when the odds of hitting a mafia were seemingly so low anyway. The problem I have right now in this game is that it's so hard to get any significant evidence against a player outside of suspicious behavior, and that can easily originate out of simple noobishness, something from which I myself have suffered. For this reason I find it hard to call out any specific person for the subject of a possible lynch without a compelling argument presented to me by a player more used to the behavior of mafia in these games. It's for that reason that as of now I can find no more fitting subject for a possible lynch than

as he has been pretty cautious in his voting so far, and has offered probably the slimmest reasoning behind his votes when he does make them, suggesting to me that he is trying his best to attract as little attention to himself as possible.
 
I really have no choice here but to follow the leaders, here's to hoping we get this right. They already explained why polelover is a good lynch choice. At this point in the game, we have to scumhunt until the cop gets a guilty and we can test the guilty.

Just posting to say that I am still alive. I had to move all my stuff from PA to MN this past weekend, so I was without internet for quite sometime...
So anyways, I'm not going to bandwagon just yet on the polelover44 lynch. It just seems fair enough for him to explain himself first.
 
I'm on my iPod atm so this is gonna be brief, and I'll explain myself further once I get home, but: Why are we blindly following what UncleSam says just cause he's persuasive?

Anyway, I'll give you more when I get home, but think about that for a sec.


Oh also, I'm not suggesting that US is mafia, I'm just saying he doesn't know any more than any of you - you don't have to totally bandwagon all his votes because he's the only good player who gives a rat's ass about this game.

Honestly, why are you following what UncleSam says? He's done nothing but call out random villagers in exceedingly long posts, and then whenever his own name is mentioned in a lynch, he says "if I was mafia why would I call attention to myself just to off random villagers?" He's offered nothing in his own defense, of course he doesn't need to because he's UncleSam and can do no wrong. He calls out some people for bandwagoning and totally glosses over the fact that others are bandwagoning. I'm not going to call out a lynch on him because a) he has such a tight grip on you, and b) he's UncleSam this is just how he plays, but don't mindlessly jump onto his lynches just because he said to. UncleSam lynched wrong, and he goes and places the blame on other people (in this instance, me).

QFT. Honestly, I'm scared that UncleSam is getting a bit too powerful in this game and that it's really going to hurt the town's chances on winning this game. UncleSam is a pretty good mafia player, but Day 1 shows that we cannot simply bandwagon with him. Galladiator was a pretty obvious townie in my opinion, but Sam was still able to rally enough support to get the lynch. I'm not even positive that he's town, I think he might be playing on the fact that he's more experienced than a lot of the people here and is using that fact (along with some rhetoric) to control the town. Inspector, tonight you NEED to verify Uncle Sam to be sure that he's townie, because I'm not sure he can be trusted until then. Remember: he really hurt the town with (in my opinion) a pretty obvious mislynch Day 1. If he had attacked somebody different such as Spiffy (who was vastly more suspicious), I wouldn't be faulting him as much. Galladiator, however, was a townie that was over his head.

Lots of people have bandwagoned in the past, why should polelover be lynched for it?

Um that is a defense polelover. You have done nothing except sit around on your ass and follow the Galladiator bandwagon while only posting whenever someone brings up your name.

I realize I was wrong yesterday. As I have said, if people honestly think he was acting like a villager blame me for it.

With that being said, I see no argument here other than "hey guys don't wagon me". How about an explanation for the total lack of activity? How about an explanation for jumping on the Galladiator wagon and for generally just not explaining anything you do?

And quite frankly I wish to emphasize this to everyone: I do not know "for sure" (or even remotely close to it) that polelover is mafia/wolf. I am simply giving my hunches and the reasons behind them. If you find the reasons convincing, go ahead and vote for him but say why you are doing so. Don't just say "I agree with UncleSam" because that gets the village nowhere. List what specifically in what I said you agree with (or in many of your cases, don't agree with) and say why.

polelover you can start. Because simply hurling accusations, as I have pointed out countless times, is not a defense.

I have called you out for suspicious behavior. Defend yourself.

If you feel anything I am doing is suspicious, feel free to call me out on it. However, don't call me out on it as a response to my questions. That gets no one anywhere (see last day).

Also if I was mafia don't you think the inspector would have spoken up about it? He probably inspected me last night.
