uh wut

For one, a 250% boost.

For two, salac doesn't exist.

I really hope you're not honestly using rock wrecker.

Someone told me that 1 Stage boost = 25% of the base stat .-.

Read the top of the post. `_`

And yeah I'd rather use Rock Wrecker. Idc about next turn uselessness. Its a Shell Smash Kamikaze.

I did this once w/Rock Wrecker set. Use Rock Wrecker, then if your opponent attacks, you won't waste a turn. Quite useful with charging recoil moves

Oops, I forgot to mention the Eject Button.

I've been using that Crustle set for like 3 days unless I give it Mental Herb instead of Salac and Rock Blast as STAB Rock-moves. Srsly, it always manages to kill at least 2 pokemon before getting killed.

EDIT:
@ether: mental herb cancels taunt.

Here's a crazy one:

Conkeldurr @ Life Orb
176 Atk/192 HP/84 SpAtk/56 SpDef
Brave / Sheer Force

Work Up
Drain Punch/Focus Blast
HP Ice
Payback/Mach Punch

This set exists for one reason only: Luring and eliminating Gliscor. It's highly specialized, but considering how dumb Gliscor's walling potential is in the metagame right now, it is a threat worth specializing to remove.

I don't see this doing anything against anything other than Gliscor, and even then you'd be better using something that gets Ice Punch like Scrafty. Your set would actually work better if you were allowed two Conks, but sadly not.

If you mean Roserade, 252/0 Gliscor takes 144-169 damage from a Modest 252 Roserade Venoshock (no boosting item), because it resists Poison. In other words, it takes it quite well, especially with Poison Heal factored in.

With a Life Orb, you've got some power against Gliscor, with 186-219 damage. However, you're still Acrobatics bait, and that's sure to hurt (if not eliminate) Roserade.

Modest 252 Roserade with LO Venoshock 2Hit KO's it :/ with it being 252/0 in defense

So using fling would be a bad decision

Yeah, but you have to catch it before it Flings the Toxic Orb on some prior pokemon you had out. Not to mention 2HKO likely isn't that great when you have to eat even a 55BP Acrobatics in the meanwhile.

Edit:

I would switch it in while its protecting.

They don't really run protect...

Ive never ran into Poison heal without protect. I always Embargo wi-fi Gliscors, they always run protect from my experience

Moving on.

Double/Triple Battle Weezing im thinking of using

Weezing @ Quick Claw (it only serves 1 Main Purpose)
Nature: Careful
Ability: Levitate
252 HP/6 Def/ 252 SpD

Poison Gas
Haze
Destiny Bond
Explosion

center lead. Have it poison gas the opponents trio, and switch out.

Any Steels or Poison types you destiny bond.

Haze is to debuff set up sweepers

Explosion is well for... you know.

This set works well with EQ sweepers, Special attackers packing VenoShock, Dark types to bait a Psychic attack (T-Tar, Excadrill and Garchomp anyone? Triple Rock Slide)

Bulky Stallers, and Fake Out leads

iirc, Poison gas has 55% acc. A bit too unreliable imo. You're likely only going to poison 1 Poke, in which case Toxic is better.

Not entirely. The chance of being able to apply residual damage to all your opponents is pretty nice, and for the first two turns it's doing more than Toxic damage.

It has its merits over just Toxicing one enemy.

The chance of hitting more than one opponent is a mere 30%, which I find fairly off-putting. Not to say it's useless, but the chances of success are comparable to that of a Cinncino hitting a mult-hit attack more than twice (35%); great when it works, but fairly unreliable.

Uh, 80% x 80% = 64%..

The chance of hitting 2 in a triple battle is 3*.8*.8*.2= 38.4%

The chance of hitting 3 in a triple battle is .8*.8*.8 = 51.2%

so you have a 89.6% chance of at least poisoning 2 of the foes in a triple battle.

80? I thought Poison Gas had 55% acc.

Unless it changed for gen 5, in which case my argument is invalid.

EDIT: I just realized that I missed EtherDrive's post. I feel pretty stupid now...
