Creative (and good) Movesets (READ THE OP FIRST)

That's a cute set, but Flight Jewel may be better so that you can activate Acrobatics immediately.

Or you could attack with Leaf Blade to do more damage on average, while activating the Grass Gem - the Flying Gem (its actual name) isn't always necessary when you're using Acrobatics.

@Sceptile
Doryuuzu does that job better, he takes hits better, hits harder, and has better resists and type coverage. Plus, Dory is easier to setup. Sceptile's only advantage is that he's a little bit faster and has the surprise advantage.

TheB.A. Chansey

Chansey The Bad ***(ORIGINAL SET)
Item: Eviolite
Nature: Bold
Ability: Serene Grace
Ev's:
-252 Def.
-252 Sp Def.
-4 Sp Attk/Speed/Hp (this doesn't matter)
Moves:
-Counter/Aromatherapy
-Softboiled
-Physic
-Tri-Attack (I found out that Chansey can learn Tri-attack if your don't believe or want to make sure just Google or go to Bulbapedia).

This is a monster, you can rape a whole team...maybe, but serene grace helps a lot due to physic's 10% chance of lowering sp. def. down and Tri-Attack 20% on get Freeze,Burn, or Paralyze. When a pysical attacker comes in, you can use counter to get even, but on the other hand Aromatherapy helps just in case Chansey gets Poisoned,Burned, or paralyzed plus it helps your teammates. A good partner for chansey is a bulky poke in defense or a sweeping/revenge killing ghost poke.

Sceptile @ Grass Gem
Ability: Unburden
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
- Leaf Blade
- Acrobatics
- Sword Dance
- Earthquake

Grass Gem works by boosting Leaf Blades power while (after a use) giving you a 110 power Acrobatics and triggering Unburden, making you faster than almost anything (even scarfed pokes). Swords Dance is to boost your sub-par/ok attack to massive levels, and Earthquake is for coverage.

Yeah, ran that with Sitrus Berry as cleanup in UU with Rock Slide over Acrobatics. Problem is, Sceptile lacks coverage with Acrobatics instead of Rock Slide. You can't hit Kyurem, and Skarmory has free rein.

Serene Grace + Tri Attack is a unique strategy, and with Chansey's bulk there are plenty of chances to give something random status. However, Psychic seems pretty useless, you may as well use Charge Beam or Calm Mind if you want to change Special stats.

Aromatherapy would be my preferred option over Counter.

I hope by "unique", you didn't mean "creative"; because Togekiss does Tri + Grace much, much better

Just dropping this by everybody. I use it as a lead more often than not right now and it is very good.

Bronzong @ Mental Herb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Atk / 112 Def / 88 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Gyro Ball
- Stealth Rock
- Trick
- Toxic / Earthquake / Reflect / Light Screen
Bronzong is naturally taunt bait, especially in the lead spot, which is why this set works so well. Basically, you can get off a Stealth Rock even if you are taunted thanks to Mental Herb. This uses up you Mental Herb, allowing you to get leftovers or take the item away from something later. It's a very neat trick and remedies the "mental herb Vs. leftovers" debate. Gyro Ball is for STAB, and since most lead invest in speed, it will do quite a bit of damage. The last slot is just for support / utility. You can toxic switch ins, go more offensive with Earthquake, or use screens. Just be sure to watch out what you get in return of the trick though. You might end up with Choice Specs/Scarf, but then again you can always tick it back. You can drop the Attack EVs into Defenses if you'd like, especially if you aren't using Earthquake.

You can't trick once u use your mental herb.

Chansey only learns Tri Attack in Gen 1. There is no way to get a Gen 1 Chansey into a Gen 3, 4, or 5 game.

That Bronzong doesn't look very effective, Iron ball would probably be better as a item. Okay, I have just came up with a paraflich set that works almost as well Jirachi or Togekiss

Spr_5b_573.png

Cinccino (F) @ Kings Rock
Ability:Skill Link
EVs:
36 HP/252 Atk/220 Spe
Nature: Jolly
- Thunder Wave
- Tail Slap
- Bullet Seed/Rock Blast
- Encore

Wow, this set is amazing, if you can get Cinccino on a Stat boosting move or something that isn't very strong, then you can encore it. Then you can Thunder wave their switch in, and try to flinch to death with one of your multi-hit moves. Other move options include Substitute, and Attract.

Yes, I guess it could, but Iron Ball seems to be more effective on a more offensive-oriented Bronzong, and iron ball doesn't let you get up stealth rocks against a taunt user like mental herb.

Conkeldurr (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SAtk
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Work Up
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Drain Punch
- Payback
Ive been using this mixed conkeldurr set on my team recently and have been incredibly satisfied with his ability to lure out one of his biggest and most common counters gliscor

I've been using this for a while with pretty pleasent results;

Spr_5b_547.png

"Suicide-lead" Whimsicott
Whimsicott@Focus Sash
Timid
Prankster
252SpAtt/252Spe/6HP
Taunt
Encore
Memento
Hidden Power [Ice]

Can make for a very effective lead to set up an early sweep behind it. Whether you force them into a non-attacking move or force them into a much weakened attacking move, this set consistently generates a safe environment for team members to set up in, and forces switches to give them adequate opportunity.

Taunt and Encore are, of course, a given on Whimsicott and need no introduction. The former prevents setup moves, while the latter can force them to continue using them at their own detriment. The crux of this set falls to memento. Odds are when an opponent sees Whinsicott, they're not going to be stupid enough to try setting up on you, they're just going to start beating on you then and there. Once they've been taunted into doing so, priority memento effectively cripples them as you bring in a new Poke to set up. At -2 even the most powerful attackers of OU can be sufficiently neutered, allowing you to weather multiple STAB hits as you set up, or give you a window of opportunity to boost and get an early sweep. Hidden Power Ice rounds out the moveset by enabling Whimsicott to beat some of it's common checks and counters, specifically Thunderus with it's even faster Taunt, and opposing Whimsicott in the context of opposing leads. The EVs further this cause, with maximised SpAtt and Spe giving it the best chance of beating its fellow cotton balls. More defensive spreads can of course be used, but on a set that spends most of it's time killing itself, the bulk is somewhat wasted.

Quoting from another thread, I want some opinions on this set:

Here's a set I've been thinking about recently:

Chansey @ Eviolite
252 def/252 spdef/4 spe
bold / natural cure

Charm
Softboiled
Toxic
Light Screen/Attract/Sweet Kiss/Snatch

This just sits there and spams charm after hitting the opponent with Toxic to wear it down. Here's a few calcs that shows you how crazy this thing is:

-2 252 adamant Medicham HJK: (58.97% - 69.58%)
-2 252 adamant Band Kyurem Outrage: (22.46% - 26.37%)

Adamant Medicham's HJK is the strongest fighting-type attack in UU. It can charm+toxic the many weaker attackers in the tier, and softboiled stall vs. them easily. Trapping steels that wall this set is crucial. Its 4th moveslot is open for basically anything, so give it a support option, and steel-trapping support and you're good to go. Light Screen works well, as does Attract. Sweet Kiss is a gimmicky confusion option, but might rack up more damage. Shame Evasion clause is in place, otherwise this would be the ultimate staller with Minimize...

Why not Seismic toss in the last slot so it can actually do something?

i've been using choice band sigilyph it does okay but no one sees it comming :D so good for surprise factor!

Sigilyph @ choice band
252 atk
252 spd
6def? /hp?
- aerial ace
- facade
- steel wing
- smack down

Aerial ace is standard STAB. facade combos with magic guard to double in power and prevent the status from really effecting it. steel wing is needed vs ROCK type. and smack down is good in doubles to hit everything with EQ.

Needs more Sky Attack. But I really hope this is a troll attempt.

I dont know if this has been thought of.
But here it goes.

Donphan@Leftovers
252 Atk/ 252 Spe
Jolly/ Adamant
Sturdy:
~Earthquake
~Rock Polish
~Head Smash/ Stone Edge
~Ice Shard/ Fire Fang/ Superpower/ Seed Bomb/ Filler

This is a late-game cleanup donphan. Using Rock polish to doubling his speed, and with Head Smash + Earthquake providing great coverage. The last move is really just for preference, Ice Shard for Priority, Fire Fang for Ferrothorn, Superpowr also for Ferrthorn, Seed bomb for bulky water )Etc.)

Did you actually copy this pile of shit from the Sigilyph thread?

*facepalm*

This thread is for creative sets that are GOOD, not creative sets that are TROLLS.

yes it is my set :D

So how useful is it? Show us some damage calcs against common OU threats, like Conkeldurr, Excadrill and Ferrothorn. I'd prefer to see how is that set even remotely good in the first place, when you are actually using a base 58 Attack stat.

Outclassed in almost any way by Landorus or Excadrill imho.
Still, Donphan is bulky and that could give it setup opportunities.
