Seeing as the actual PID of the Pokemon isn't altered, I'd say legitimate.

Also, for a quick way to get money, just spam the stadiums in Nimbasa City, and the Royal Unova.
 
Umm... I have a question about SD (Swords Dance). Does it really boost your Attack stat +2 every time you use it, like Bulbapedia and Serebii say? I'm just training an Excadrill atm and sometimes when I use SD twice in a row, it says in the second use "Excadrill's attack drastically rose!" meaning that it is +3? Sometimes it is "sharply" until +6 and sometimes it says "drastically". What does this mean?

The term "rose sharply" means the Attack rose by 2 stages. If the message reads "drastically" instead, it probably means that Simple Beam was used on Excadrill (changing its Ability to Simple), making the Attack rise by 4 stages instead.
 
I just facepalmed so hard at myself. Thanks poccil, yea, my Excadrill is only lvl 50 so I was training at Audinos and they used Simple Beam quite often. :p
 
Recently, I've been using sd yache chomp as a late game cleaner to lots of success. Now as chomp got the hamer, whats a good replacement. (I wan't using a sub veil set)
 
Supposing my DS were to break, would I just lose my Rating in Rating Mode if I loaded my cart on a different DS, or would I lose all my win counts from Free Mode and Rating mode too?

I played my game on a different ds and it kept the ratings. the info is stored in the pokemon cartridge, not the ds itself

Since the DS User Info or whatever "do not match", you'll have to reset your data, which are your Rating Mode rankings an your Pal Pad info. Your Free Mode is untouched, though.
