Did you ever get around to trolling pub with the glitch? I was going to join off you to see you do it BUT YOU WENT TO BED WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING.
i trolled badwater this morning, it only works on gamearena servers

And needling as a last resort still has the ability to save games. If the opportunity to needle kill arises, you have to take it, just like with Ubersaw defenses. I agree that Medic damaging his opponents is rare, and a safety feature like the one you see in the Overdose would easily be preferred over it. But stepping away from rockets all day and keeping your distance can get boring, and a base 107% speed is already perfect for Medic.
I'm intrigued about that Blutsauger glitch. I found a recharge glitch with the Targe/Screen myself, it made BL rollout feel like 8 seconds long and there wasn't even any health penalty. It looks like the Soda Popper is glitched too because it only has 150% maximum rampup.
tf2 does have a sniper. it also has a scout, but he really should be renamed "the assassin" since he does very little scouting and much more two-shotting-with-scattergun.

Because it has all of these updates.
This is a full game and then some, years of updates into its development. These is an unorthodox free to play game in this sense, but it is worth it believe me.

So... it would seem the Detonator is bugged and doesn't factor in the +25% self blast damage, which makes the current flare jump only go marginally higher than when you just jump regularly.
So as of right now the Detonator is just a big smelly turd until Valve fixes it. Unless they intended it to be this way...

Since it's the only pyro weapon in this update and considering how much valve hates the class I wouldn't doubt it.
I tried it out a bit, and used it in the beta but I could never consistently get the jump right, I wish valve made another way for the pyro to be faster that doesn't just make everyone kill you faster.

It's a shame really - the Detonator was so fun in Beta, you could jump from the ground to the battlements in 2fort with ease, and even larger heights were a trifle once you got the technique down.
Now it's atrocious both as a jumper and a weapon. Worse than the Flare Gun, and far worse than the Shotgun. If it could at least give the Pyro some jump ability it would be useful... but for now it's worthless.

Has anyone else gotten the Tomislav? The spindown is just as fast and then gun sounds are also the quietest out of any Minigun. As it is now you can jumprev, fire, and spin down before you even touch the ground. Even with the constant spinning and re-spinning the gun far out damages the shotgun while moving at full Heavy walk speed.
Tomislav + Sandvich + GRU = God tier Heavy

I'll agree with you Minwu on the utility of the tommy, it works well for those ambush moments, but I have only used to sparingly when I knew it would be useful, I've been sticking to the vanilla minigun.
I was just playing on a valve server as Heavy, and the influx of new players is just astounding, it was 8 vs 8 on gravelpit and I had minigun, sandvich and GRU. In my last round I just didn't die, I ended with 86 points and dominating 7/8 players. The spur of my minigun was like a warning to them that I was near. I defended point A and just demolished them.
Too many of them were spy too, and just horrible at it, coming right at me, being quite obvious. I'm not very good at spy either, but if you're new don't play spy, it can be fun but you need to know the map and how to use his tools really well.

New spies also need to be more patient. Stop decloaking wherever in the attempt to kill someone.
