Two 2-part questions (I think I could find the answer to the first one by google searching if I try, but I'll ask both together since they're related):

1. Is it possible to vary the roaming Thunderus's Nature in Pokemon White, and if so, how?
2. I've read that Thunderus has a very good chance of going to Ubers. How likely is this, and should I be bothering to capture a good one right now?

1. Defeat Thundurus, then beat the E4, then go to the house on that route, and the Thundurus scene will play again. This time, it will have a different nature. If it isn't what you're looking for, repeat above.
2. Sure, he makes for a good Nasty Plot sweeper, as well as access to priority Substitute and Thunder Wave, which can easily cripple sweepers.

Effect: Allows the holder to switch out even if it is trapped by a move or ability that restrains the Pokémon from switching out under normal circumstances

so probably yes.

Thanks.

Also, the nature is determined when you start talking to the old woman, so save your game before you talk to her. Catch the Thundurus, and if its stats suck, soft reset your game and talk to the old woman again.

No, Trick Room always lasts the same amount of time. There's no way to extend it.
Gyro Ball's Base Power is only affected by Speed stats. It'll have the same power in and out of TR since TR doesn't actually alter the Speed of the Pokemon.

Say I have a Timid 31/0/31/31/31/31 Virizion. I plan to make it into a CM'er, but its Hidden Power is Dragon 68. Is that viable since it gets the neutral coverage of HP-Ice while being SE on Dragon?

HP Ice also hits Flying types which severely threaten Virizion and it hits Grass types which could also pose a threat, so I would say go for HP Ice

If a pokemon caught in a HGSS-exclusive Pokeball (i.e. Heavy Ball) is traded to D/P/Pt, then traded back to HG/SS and pokeshifted from HG/SS, will it still retain its special ball or will it have been turned into an ordinary Poke Ball permanently during the tradeover to D/P/Pt? The only version I can clone on right now in Gen IV is Pearl, and I'd prefer to keep it that way, but I need to know before I start RNG catching things in HG/SS so I can make one of those two my "cloning" version if I have to.

According to Bulbapedia, HGSS balls turn back into HGSS balls when you transfer them back into HGSS. Therefore, since HGSS balls maintain their appearance in Gen 5 games, I don't see why they wouldn't do that in the case you outline.

Thank you very much, that is very helpful information. I was worried because someone said once that he'd lost his special ball when he transferred a pokemon to B/W from Pearl, a pokemon that had been originally caught in HG; I figured that the ball might have been permanently lost upon the pokemon's transferral to D/P/Pt, but evidently I was wrong.
