can you use landorus on a rain team just as a sand check, because i need a good sand check that can do shit, that isn't checking exca and conk.
Maybe if you run a RP set, as then you will outspeed Exca after a boost. Don't know if that's possible with both Jolly and Adamant, though.

Is there a forum where we can make joke threads? Like I totally want to write a Mudkip analysis or something, but there's no forum I can post it in without getting infracted lol

Drifblim baton passing a substitute and trick room into a Power Trick Shuckle w/ Focus sash and sturdy. Shuckle is running Gyro Ball and Earthquake to brute sweep everything. ((Thought Shuckle could learn Trick Room for some reason...))

Viable?.. And yes, I just proposed a sweeping Shuckle.

Focus Sash and Sturdy is absurdly useless, but if (and this is a big if) you can pull it off, it can work.

I have a question about the ability 'Cloud Nine' .

Rayquaza's ability cancels weather , this would be nice to have but he is uber.
Then i noticed Cloud Nine , yet nobody uses it.
The descriptions about these 2 ability's are different too . Cloud nine says the effects of weather are canceled. But what when the pokemon using cloud nine switches back out ? Is the effect still in work then or does it only count for that particular pokemon ?

Both Air Lock and Cloud Nine, only cancle the weather as long as the pokemon is on the battle field. So when the Air Lock/Cloud Nine user switches out Rain/Sunshine/Sand Stream/Hail starts again.

because you had a 1/7 chance to get a 2x evasion boost each turn aka minimize. Evasion moves are banned for a reason. Plus, if you stalled for long enough with protect and sub you would get MANY boosts, and almost nothing could stop you

You could spam Substitute and Protect to rack up boosts, eventually netting +2 evasion, hence enabling you to sweep.

To clarify on this a bit more, Air Lock and Cloud Nine just cancel the effects of weather, it doesn't actually get rid of it. So, say you switched in your Air Lock/Cloud Nine mon in while it was sunny. It treats battle conditions as if they're clear skies, but the sun is actually still there. All the opponent has to do is get rid of your Air Lock/Cloud Nine mon or even just force you to switch it out and they don't even have to set up weather again.

Ah ok , that explains alot really :D
Its probably why nobody uses it as having your own weather is better , right ?

I'd say it is .
I noticed most grass and electric attacks come from special attacks . Only power whip and thunder punch an leaf blade , wich you barely see as ferro usually runs gyro ball , and thunderpunch used to be on some dragonites but now they have fire punch / brick break in their DD set . So having calm mind makes your weaknesses less threatening to stay in .
Then again this is my personal view on things :D

Pretty much. Suicune can't do much else on a Stall team besides act as a bulky Phazer, which is outclassed by far too many things. May as well be a boosting sweeper.

Question: Does Disable penetrate Subs?

Another question: Is it necessary to have a Spinner on Stall teams?

@ Box: Yes and yes.

Question: When Moody was banned, does it affect the DW tier?

I believe Smogon just treats Dreamworld the same as OU tiering-wise since it doesn't really care that much about it. Because of this, I would assume that Moody is just as banned in DW as in OU and Ubers.

Is a Pokemon's usage in the OU tier solely used to determine its position among the other tiers?

For example, if a certain pokemon is very frequently used in UU, and has more usage in UU than a certain OU Pokemon, would that certain pokemon then be considered OU?

ok i was thinking about that one XD hoe about the other sets? are they any good as well?

I've used both offensive and defensive Politoeds, and both work well depending on which your team needs. For me, I've found that defensive politoed works better for my team, since I need rain active in order to have my team function at full potential. On the other hand, some teams enjoy a more offensive Politoed such as a Choice Speced or Scarfed version.
