On behalf of a friend...: Is there a way to get both ice punch and pursuit on Sneasel?

Simple Question: Is "Record Mixing" included in D/P (resulting in your friend's avatar and Secret Base appearing in your version)?
They're both bred moves. And Sneasel breeds with Smeargle.

Where is smeargle and what do you need to get on wi-fi?

If I give Arceus Dragon Plate, and then have the Move Tutor teach it Draco Meteor, and then remove the Dragon Plate, will Arceus still be able to use Draco Meteor?

I know you can transfer Pokemon with HM moves to D/P, but what about Flash and Dive? Since they're no longer HMs in D/P, can you transfer Pokemon with those moves?
yes because they are still usable moves in the game, but just not for things that you would use HMs for, like reaching new places, etc.

The flavor text it says about your pokemon is determined by it's highest IV, it also considers speed before SP.ATK. (so HP ATK DEF SPD SP.ATK SP.DEF). these are the only ones i've found so far

Dusk Balls have four times more success rate of catching Pokemon in caves and at night than POKE-balls.
By comparison, Ultra Balls are twice as successful to capture a Pokemon than Poke-balls, so Dusk Balls are still quite useful, especially since most of the legendary Pokemon are found in caves. This means that Dusk Balls' catch rate is twice that of an Ultra Ball in caves and at night.
A Quick Ball's success rate of catching a Pokemon decreases every 5 turns. The initial catch rate is unknown.
A Timer Ball's success rate of catching a Pokemon increases every 10 turns. The initial catch rate is unknown, but is probably the same as that of a Poke-ball.
I'd like to see a written-out account of how to get Ice Punch+Pursuit onto Sneasel myself (IE where to catch smeargle, where to find a poke with Ice Punch/Pursuit to copy, etc).
On another note, I've been spending sometime at the game corner, and for the life of me I cannot understand how to extend the bonus rounds on the slot machines (or their mechanics, for that matter). I guess you're supposed to play for awhile, get Clefairy on the bottom screen, then get 777, enter bonus round(s), and don't get REPLAY if the moon turns red. That's all I can understand...yet my bonus rounds still end randomly...one ended at 3, and the next at 7.
Getting 3 Pikachus or the like don't seem to work in the bonus rounds...I got several combinations like that, and nothing happened. Interesting. So, any ideas on this?

I think the only way you can do that is if you friend-code trade someone with the trio.
No. Unless you kill them or run away from them, which would be retarded. Mesprit you don't have to catch, since you see it before it vanishes.

I don't know about the Secret Base part yet, but there is Record Mixing over wireless (not WiFi). I did this for kicks between my Japanese Diamond, and English Pearl and got a strange result.
One of the televisions suddenly blared that "I" (I named myself Wil in both games), had just caught a Bidoof and named it "Bippa". Regarding the first Pokemon I caught in Diamond back in October and named Bippa to read its name better in not-Kana. So the "just" was a bit off. XD
